Yeah, UGH is gone from Mangafox. Seeing that it was yaoi, though, sorta glad I didn't try it. Not into hardcore yaoi at all.

Anyway, I was saying Seinen is a diverse category. You've got the gore and violence stuff than manga like Azumanga Daioh and K-ON and then historical manga. It's a lot more diverse than Shounen or Shoujo, which is in a way normal. Kids/Teens don't generally have much different interests, while (young) adults have more various interests.

Finally found the TV series Sailor Moon and watching pretty much all of it (or episodes with Rini/Chibusa) It's soooo funny. Serena/Usagi is really funny. Too bad she is called a meatball head. She sounds like my sister when it comes to homework and Rini sounds like my sis when she is pestering me. Just don't get me started on Serena's accidental mistake at a party with students who speak French but learning English.

I thought seinen was aim for older men because most of the story is darker (doesn't necessarily envolves ecchi and violence though).

Not only darker, but also more "mature" issues that may be not at all dark/scary/grim. Things like business, work, marriage, that stuff? Things that kids would not care about, LOL. As far as I know anyway.

Still watching Sailor Moon. The dentist episode in the Dream arc season is a funny one in a way. Them complaining and being ridiculous is the funny part! Serena and Rini act like big cry babies.

@D_A: Really? A lot of the seinen manga I read hardly have mature issues at all. And sometimes the artwork of the mangas are so... 'cutesy' that it could be easily confused with shojo or even kodomo.

Huh? There's a category called "kodomo" (child)?! o__O

Apparently so, and that's where mangas like Doraemon are classified as.

@rogue: That's how seinen and josei manga are described. In reality? Heck if I know what makes so-and-so manga seinen or shonen or shoujo or josei? The categorizing system is super wonky.

I never look at the categorizing system. I just read whatever that has a cool looking cover. >.>

Hey what do you guys think of the title of a manga?

Suppose that you haven't seen or heard of that manga and you want to start a new series, will you read it because it has an interesting name or vice versa?

There's this manga called 'Nononono', I didnt knew about it back then but I've just ignored it because of the silly name. Turns out the manga's pretty awesome. x)

Also laughed at "Bobobo-bobo-bobo" and "Legendary Legend". First one is about.... nose hair... a gag manga apparently that's old as Detective Conan, latter one should be obvious (even my sis laughed at it when I told her about it). Another manga is called "PK", which is a swear word in Cantonese. xD

Read several chapters of that manga, and discarded it halfway. Author clearly did not do any research regarding anything aside from the ski jumping, leading to a lot of Idiot moments, and there's too much drama for my liking.

@ivana: Are you talking about modern or ancient olympics? Cuz only free males could participate in the Ancient while both genders are allowed in the Modern.

Most likely she is talking about ancient ones. And my art has progressed further. I can draw Fluttershy without hassle now.
