I want dragons in the party too~ That would be awesome! Something new would be exciting.

This synopsis really sounds interesting! O: From the title and the summary, methinks the dragons can take human forms and blend in with the humans. Perhaps one of the plot twists will be that one of the thought-to-be human party members is actually a dragon, and so on.

I like how the dragons aren't completely evil. This sounds really interesting.

Got to back up Kirroha on this one. I really like the idea of some dragons hiding among the humans, through some sort of magic. Maybe they are spies?

then the title really fits.....

-> Dashiell is secretly a DRAGON HIMSELF!
-> Dashiell's love interest in the party turns out to be a dragon and betrays him. Cue angst.
-> The party dragon is a girl. (See above theory.)
-> The debt that the humans owe the dragons are a piece of DRAGON SCALE that Edward and co. stole back in GoN!
-> Militant turnips will appear.

If you had a dragon in the party, how big would it be, I wonder? Would it be human size or bigger? I think it would be fun to walk around as a HUGE dragon.

The dragon would have to be human-sized, or only a little bigger. There are graphic layering issues if you have larger sprites (remember the gryphons? with the bees near the elf town in GoN? Their wings did funny overlapping things with the trees)

Sherwin is Dashiell's best friend. They grew up together in Merivale, a small farming community, but while Dashiell is happy in his little corner of the world, Sherwin detests the lifestyle and longs for travel. A geeky intellectual who would rather have his head in a book than be outside taking in the fresh air, he is also ignorant to the advances from the opposite sex. Sherwin is an optional team member, and you'll have several opportunities to recruit him.

"Several" opportunities to recruit the same character - somehow that interests me most of all. But I like geeky types, so I would put him in the party.

Hmmm... If we recruit him would we not be able to recruit someone else?

There will be several optional party members. Sometimes you will have to choose between two people, and sometimes if you chose not to let someone join, you will get another opportunity later to have them come with you.

Sometimes it may be better to NOT have someone join, and wait until later. But you will only know that after playing through the first time

like Nicolas and Gavin in av2?

I hope it's a bit more complicated than Nicolas and Gavin. It would be great if the game were to branch out differently, at least in certain areas, based on which party members are chosen. I feel like the idea that different people can change the outcome of a situation by their presence or lack thereof would be great to implement into a game. Then again, that would probably be really hard to do.

Wow, the thing about party members just make me even more excited!

Hmm I wonder if this Sherwin will be hoodwinked by the dark side?

I like complex party member . . . things. It makes for replayability.
