To be perfectly honest, these little glimpses of Avatar 2 make me not want to watch it because I loved the first one and I don't think this one is nice, at all, or funny. Now Sokka was funny, this is just weird-ish

Well if there are any fans here that think that's funny please say so. All I am getting is hard to make laugh people.

And Theo these are fan made. And there are some strong references from the old series in the new one. Like Meelo and his sisters. They have various personality references like Meelo in a snowman like Aang did.

The thing is that most of these quotes need to be seen in context in order to be funny, so someone who hasn't seen the show probably won't get them.

And the pic . . . well, it reminds me of the Madagascar 3 trailer and I'm already sick of that joke before the movie even comes out.

Honestly, if you hadn't paraded it in as a "don't laugh contest" you might have gotten more people laughing at it.

And ditto theone: all these supposed 'great/funny' bits you're posting are just turning me off from the show. They usually consist of nothing but incomprehensible fangirling/bashing, and/or spoilers.

Linking videos/clips for each quote would have been great.

Also, IMO there's nothing funny about "no way". Or a burp for that matter. I've watched some of the pertaining episodes, and they're not funny in or out of context. Funny-ness of stuff is really a Your Mileage May Vary kind of thing. You think they're great and absolutely hilarious because you're fangirling over Bolin. Those who do not share your views will not share your opinion.

Tbh, Sokka is just ok-ish funny. Yeah, sometimes you get a few 'hahaha' from his silly moments but never had I had a 'BWAHAHAHAHA' moment. Even Pinky and the Brain's slapstick humor is much more better.

Bolin can be funny, but these quotes were not the funny bits. The burp (how is THAT even a quote) was something that just happens and not particularly funny. A burp is just a burp, unless you have Fan Myopia and see something on an entirely different level from casual observers.

The whole rant about "woe, I can only trust Pabu my fire-ferret" and "put me down" and "I ain't coming with you" was part of a drunken jealous-rant directed at his brother, so I seriously cannot find them funny. It's sad and a little bit pathetic. I can sympathize with the jealousy, and him being rather over-the-top with the situation made it seem rather pathetic, but it's not at all funny. That maybe a personal bias because I've kinda been there, except that I didn't actually get hammered (I'm underaged, I don't like alcohol, etc etc), but still.

I've only watched up to episode 2 so I'll see if what he says is funny or not. Seconded about the burp though, it's like laughing at someone yawning. Doesn't make any sense. - -

Of both said and episode except for one which is "In a real match you would be a sitting turtle duck" (second episode).

I agree with d_a that Bolin can be funny at times, but these quotes aren't (and even if they were, without context they never will be). Same with Sokka. The only time ATLA/Korra has ever been laugh-out-loud funny, in my opinion, is in "The Beach" and "The Ember Island Players." Charming is a more accurate descriptor, I think. And Toph, Katara, and Zuko all have better lines than Sokka despite the fact that he's the dedicated "comic relief character."
