anyways, it's kind of awkward that itachi just 'decides' kabuto was going the wrong path, i mean, who is he to decide? (asides from being the most awesome lord of epicness)

@Moonreader: It's not that awkward in my opinion. I think pretty much everyone in Naruto believes Kabuto has gone down the wrong path. At least Itachi is giving him a way out; something other opponnents wouldn't have done.

I was really glad to see that his parents weren't angry at him. I was always wondering how those last minutes must have been.

Now I really wonder what will happen to Kabuto. The suspense is killing me. Maybe Sasuke will just go out and leave him there (as Kabuto is still stuck in a genjutsu)?

Well, even without Edo Tensei, you still had the Tailed Beasts, Tobi and the White Zetsu army, so I knew the war wouldn't end with that.

Sorry to have to cut the talk about the fancy pansy Uchiha skills, but this is kinda related to Naruto so I thought I'd share it here.

I was browsing for Japanese fairytales and I stumbled across one called Jiraiya the Bandit King. Read full story here: http://zeluna.net/japanese-fairy-tales-jiraiyathebandit.html It's about a guy named Jiraiya who learned a spell to transform into frogs, a healer-gril called Tsunade who is VERY skilled with medicine, and an evil demon snake called Orochi.

Does that sound familiar?

I wonder if there's any Jiraiya/Tsunade shippers who has made use of this fairytale for fanfiction because in the story Jiraiya and Tsunade got married

Okay, back to the program. What's zombie-Itachi up to now?

Oh, I've heard that the three Sannin were based on some story, didn't think of looking it up though.
If only the "Jiraya taking Tsunade as his wife" could have happened.

@Slimm: No, the snake with the Kusanagi sword and Susanoo is called Yamata no Orochi. That's different.

@agas: I know they're different, but Orochimaru is obviously based on both of them (if not only on Yamata no Orochi), which is what I actually meant with my previous post. Sorry, if that wasn't very clear.

Probably both. I think initially Kishimoto used the Yamata Orochi (sword from mouth), then later decided to incorporate the Jiraiya story and made the Sannin later on. You know how mangaka made up random junk as they go, right? They have this vague idea of a beginning and end, but so long as they continue the series, they have to think up of even more random junk to put in.
