I'm in the Enchanted Garden and need the spider's eggs. I have a fly in my inventory and assume that is what I need to distract the spider to get her eggs only that doesn't seem to work. Any help here would be appreciated as I can't seem to progress anywhere else until I get those eggs.

She is playing CAT. @radrn The fly is what distracts the spider. You just need to make sure to get the fly in the right spot.

You've just got to place the spider onto the fly. If it's not letting you do that, try returning to the menu, closing the game, then giving it another go.
In some cases, people have had problems with the mouse not responding. Closing and reopening the game has usually solved the issue. edit: ugh! Place the fly onto the spider, I mean, not the other way around
