Im hoping this will help inspire or others create a RPG game based off some ideas or anime/cartoons/etc to help get those new at RPG makers or experienced at it something to do.

I have one i have the guts to say since ill be the first to post.

Isnt there a possibility that someone can make a RPG game after Final fantasy 8 from the original Playstation 1 game?

I hope its ok if it was made out of fandom.

And if...some of you are...experienced RPG makers who want to know the second one--Pm me. Im a bit scared of letting my idea being taken by someone so PM me.

If possible, I might use the FF12 Battle System script for my further game projects.

There's someone made an anime based game in another forum. I think its a fangame for Blood+, I'm not sure whether he still carry on the project...

its allowed, but i personally wouldnt encourage it. if people dont have the ideas or inspiration; when they get it from someone else, its lacking. :\

sugestion = step away from remakes and fan games. people want something original, and well put together. its fine to use elements of other RPGs, but make your OWN blend.

But fan games and remakes get the most downloads :-) Franchise names gain attention.

when people realise its an inferior copy of something they already have, it looses its value. and it cants possibly keep people entertained for long.

Unless they took the time to use a well up-to-date RPG maker and actually took the time to make it as long and entertaining as the game its based off of.


and maybe include...FF8 wise:

New GF's

New Magic

New weapon upgrade

New items

New GF learning items

The ability to change outfits.

Difficulty settings.

and a VERY COLLOSUAL map just like the original of FF8 when your on the map.

And etc, if you have a better imagination.

Sure new games give you to interest to play it over and over.

but lets face it my friends, the original and old classic games like Atauri to the PS1 and N64 are slowly slipping away because of todays expensive 3D or improved graphics games.

you can't beat the classics.

And not, the most possibly, ultimate game can top that.

So while your lecturing [dont get e wrong, im not trying to stand you up or anything im serious here and being friendly] that old games would be predictable as they would on a fan based game copied after that, There are still those you have forgotten who never had the chance to play such games, would find it entertaining too.

Plus if you sold em for a bit of profit it might help.

Plus, such said games are slipping away that have been the most fun, and sooner or later once there COMPLETELY GONE--Dont come crying to me if you miss playing a old game while the ames of today have lost there luster.

I know in other popular game forums they have people wanting to change how the game is or add to it with a "special edition."

Then I remember seeing an interview with a maker of the game Doom who said something about how fans wish they could go back and change things and add to them, because the fans have invested so much time of their lives into the game that they think they have a say in how the game should be.

i also forgot to mention that its illegal. just so you know.

Well technically making a profit off of it makes it illegal or if it damages their franchise it makes it a lawsuit.

If you parody something it is perfectly legal, which explains how Epic / Superhero / Meet the Spartans / Date / Not Another Teen Movies have all profited despite damaging franchises.

if you use material made by a game company without permission, its illegal. period.

Well. At least make it completely different or something.

Its like a Parrelel Universe of the present time of the FF8'ters

Squall's opposite Lualq's Has stars fighting Seifers Opposite Feriess at the Intro.


so Luaql's ends up in the nursey of Grandzaro Garden with the same scar only its on the opposite part of the face.

But over time Luaql's sees rifts showing him not only squalls past but also allowing him to peer into the Reality plain.

Monsters inparrallel are actually stronger then there opposites but this time there completely prone to a Single magic or technique now mkatter how uber powerful they are.

But like FF8, it still insistes upgrading your weaponjs, collecting unique items and supplies, Exploring.

But the Gf's are different.

Shiva's opposite is Mecha Shiva.

quetzecoatl's opposite is Zues,

and Ifrits is Chernabog, a Collosual Demon that will engulf the entire field in Endless Heck flames.

Eden, the Ultimate GF is replaced with Anima who uses total oblivion.

I do believe Anima is hebrew for "I reflect unto thee the Lord" A collosus Demon whos bound by chain yet it only rises from heck half way up since its chian and its waist is stuck in the gound...

But thats the concept. When it uses its summon special "Total oblivion"

The enemy is sinking into the round to end up in some Hellish time compression like world where can see the other half of Anima, wearing a skeleton crown and its wrists bound in chain, but it breaks free and releases 17 powerful punches and explodes in dark energy.

The world is totally parrelel. Not only does it still focus on the Plot of FF8 slowly seeping into the opposite world, but what Lualq's going to have to do to stop these rifts and visions, and find out whos doing this, and for what reason--

How about we give the beginnings of Ideas. It's like writeing the begining of a story and never fininshing it. Someone could then come by, see it and get inspired by it.

Example: A boy and his Family go on a trip to Egypt. While they are driving through the Desert the boy falls out of the car and finds a coffin buried in the sand....
