This site is recieving less use it seems...me included. I probably won't be on here much in the future either. I've got a bunch of other things going on in my life (OK, playing guitar three hours a day), and I'm not really an online type of person. I don't have computer friendly eyes. I'll still do music reviews for the times and maybe the occaisional poem on the collegium, but for now I'm effectively signing out. Been fun!

Hui - I'm not sure when Lanxal joined the site, but I remember him specially from RPs, from the time when Klep was yet around, I think about the time when this new (or shall I call it old already? XD) site was starting (spring last year.)

You mean, when klep was still hanging around in the site that just crashed? that must be around april or later last year, right? Since this new (old?) site was established somewhere in April...

Yeah, Kleptin was still around then and for awhile after. I think I joined shortly after the crashed site was started (maybe in May?). Kleptin was around off and on through the summer and fall (err... maybe Octoberish?)

Of course there are either more than or less than 12 if there aren't 12 members online, but 12 is definitely not the maxiumum. I've seen more than 20 logged on to this new site. AND I've seen all guests and no members, too. That's how things are like.

It seems to vary quite a bit as to what time I'm logged on... I'm usually on with about five others. Traffic here seems to have gone way down. You'd think with all the cottages out there that there would be more signed on.

Yeah, things do feel pretty slow these days. I think some of the initial excitement over the new site is gone. I guess it's kind of like Amaranthia had a really big festival, and now people are heading back to their more quiet everyday kind of lives.

Well, Amanda is working on another project right now. And the fact that we always have so many guests right now shows that there is traffic, just that most of this traffic is not registered.

Chances are, when the beta version of the new project is released, you'll see more people coming, and when the release is official and final, BOOM! Tons of 'registered traffic'.

People are bored..that's why they are not coming again. It's a negative spiral that is going on here. Because the site kept crashing down once too often, it's a big turn off.

Anyways, I agree with hui! may be when new game will come , then bang! hopefully people will pour in and site will become lively again.

People usually talk here about nice things and positive things. Unlike in other sites where discussion sometimes heat up.
I have been here from before the last crash of the site.
I came sometime after I bought aveyond 1.
Actually, the funny thing is that I played aveyond demo shortly after it was released. (Or at least since the review of aveyond appeared in gametunnel, if you know this site).
I played it, reached the academy, and I didn't like it that I suddenly got this powerfull magic that do a lot of damage.
So I decided to not play this game for some kind of a reason, lol.
Maybe it was good I delayed my purchase of aveyond in about 2 years, because when I bought the game, all sort of stuff have been added to it.
Thats the short history of sargon in amaranth, lol.

well, welcome back then, Sargon. I'm glad to hear that you're here just fer the fun and people.

Of course most people here are here because of the games, but even if one has yet to play any of the games from Amanda, he/she is still welcome warmly to Amaranthia.

@Bee: I'm sure it's disappointing to a lot of people, but I'm even more sure that the admins have been working very hard on the site and it wasn't something they could have helped when the site crashed. (Plus, the site only crashed twice, once was the recent one you know of, and the other was a looooooong time back before you even heard about this site or its games. )

I am here also for the games, hehe.
I own Aveyond 1 and 2 and finished them both.
But, you don't need to visit the site frequently to get news about up coming games, so I guess people visit this place for other reasons then the games. (At least once they have finished the games and don't need anymore help about the games)
I also read here about other intersting games I can play.
But thanks for warm welcome back.

I love the interaction here, I have as much fun here as playing the games. As far as being guilded, thats when the real fun starts. I've never been so busy here. I love being a Dragon Lord and participating in all their activities

Well itok kinda a holiday from amaranthia. Next time i came here amaranthia crashed. After that my computer crashed. And now my net is dead.
