*sigh* Hi all,


I am feeling as a very big emo, very very big one.

My uncle and Mum has saprated long ago, the problem is thay my uncle was the closest person to me after my grandma, after she died I had nobody to talk to except him, but now after they are away I can't see him anymore........


Please someone cheer me up.....

You can do it, Love , I know they are many who loves you so be close with your family and relatives so you have someone to talk to .

all jokes aside, you'll eventually learn to keep them in your heart and move on. you'll be able to see him when you're able to earn the money for flight tickets

yes Love be friends with your mom. Us mothers are great friends to have because we already love you. Me and my only daughter Katarina are best friends my heart hurts when I go 4 more than 1 day without speaking to her. Get your mom 1 of those best friends pendants that's 2 pieces. You wear 1 and she wears 1. Can you send your uncle e-mails? If so it's the next best thing.

It's always hard when there's a breakup and someone moves away. I think as adults we forget how hard it can be on our children. I agree with everyone... make friends with your mom. There are so many things you can learn from her and by talking with her about it you start to heal and find other ways of communication. Once she realizes how important it is for you to keep in touch with your uncle she may help to find a way.

I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling down. I can't imagine what it must be like but I do agree with the advice given here in that you should try to be friends with your mom.

Coming from personal experience, my mom and I didn't get along when I was growing up. This was probably because we were so different. I was more like my dad and I think my mom couldn't stand that.

Anyway, it's a long story but yeah, our relationship wasn't great until I started working after university a few years ago. Now we're rebuilding our relationship but hopefully, your mom and you will have a much better foundation.

Hi Love, You are so close to all our hearts. We love you very much. I know how hard it is when the ones we love are far away. My children are a 1000 miles away from me. It hurts to have them so far away, but we can write to each other and talk on the phone. Is your uncle where you can write to him? If you cant get in touch with him now, you might try writing down how you feel and what you are doing in letters that you can give to him the next time you do see him. I hope you get a chance to talk to him soon. In the mean time we are always here for you. Sending you lots of hugs.

Same here, I grew like my father, my mother didn't like that.

I know it's hard to lose someone close to you. I remember when my best friend in elementary school moved away (I was about your age, too, Love), I felt really lonely and didn't know what to do with myself.

I agree with everyone that you should try talking with your mother more and be friends with her. Perhaps she can't understand you because you haven't opened up enough to her? You don't have to start off with something hugely personal and secret but start slowly. Try to connect with her by trying out things that she does. Do you two have any similar interests? Or maybe even something as helping her out around the house without being asked might help breach that wall.
