Mythra is my nick. It's been that for a long time. I use other nicks too, but this one is my favourite.

I picked Mythra cos I wanted a god name and Mithra is the name of some ancient god. I then changed the i to a y as I thought that the y looked better.

Also, Mythra looks awesome written in Egyptian.

I'm told that Mythra or Mithra are some cat type race in the Final Fantasy games too.

Don't quote me on that, I haven't played them.

I finally came up with somethin'....since it's a pen name my simple mind chose OneFeather, representing a writer's quill.
I also have a poem, The Ballad of One Feather, but it's not ready yet....

I'm a HUGE Lara Croft Fan ... That's why I choose my username ... I was contemplating changing it since the site went down, but decided to keep this name.

Kraehe(actually it's spelled Krähe) is german and means crow in english.
And since I'm being thought as german awfully lot everywhere, I am not ^^,

Mine comes from one of my favorite book series The Wheel of Time. Avienda is a warrior who has a gift equivalent to magic in our world. My cottage name comes from there too.

As for myself... I initially chose my username here as just the two contrasting elements: snow and fire. Perhaps ice and fire would have been better opposites, but I didn't quite like Icefire or Fireice nearly as much. I later learned that "snowfire" is also a type of rose, and I really liked that element to the name as well.

My username is mojanecusjanepotus pronounced as mo-já-né-koos-jane-pə-toos, so it's mo-ja-ne-cus-jane-po-tus.

I got it from my brother who made it like my scientificname when there was this activity wherein they were required by their professor in Botany to make up their own scientificname out of their personalities, mannerisms, or whatever they may think of. And he thought of mine...

mojane: Know mojacko? He's round isn't he? And has two siblings. So since he said, my face is a little bit round, I may as well be their sister. >_< Besides, he said, the number of syllables and the sound of it fits.

cus: It's like 'coz or because. In Filipino it is "kasi". Here at home, whenever I am asked by my brothers or my parents, I always explain my answer "eh kasi". Another reason is that cuscus is a nocturnal mammal and I always loved nocturnal animals, especially cats (yes, based on scientific research, as well as my own, cats are nocturnal mammals).

jane: Well, it's my name!

pot: They said that when I was a child, I liked saying pot-pot with the action of pressing my nose (like a horn of the car...). It’s also for ‘pot’tery since I love and am good at cooking and baking, as well as in arts and crafts.

My last user name is Jasmine. It's compound of Jas(Me) & Min(person I love). I give "e" at last to make it like a real English name(Jasmine). We like Jasmine flower ^^

Now Min has gone so there is only Jas. I should have choose another name, but I like Jas. It suits me a lot
Moreover, my friends don't stop calling me Jas so I can't change

Mine is actually a nickname a friend in college gave me, many many years ago...I love cats. Actually I love all sorts of animals, but cats are near the top of my list. Seeing this username makes people laugh when they hear I'm looking to get another group of pet rats, though.
