The masked person's title is somewhat near the name "crimson wind" but that's not it. I'll give you 2 hints with the masked person's name, "the red whirlwind", this anime is somewhat "loosely" based on a Shakespear story

First, I must say that this is the best anime I have ever watched in my entire life!! And second, the character over there is also my favorite from the anime.

I've just started watching Samurai Champloo ^^ I just bought the anime a few days back...I'm really quite behind on my anime watching, I recognize titles, pictures/covers and know an itsy bit of what they are but never really watch everything I have no idea what anime you just posted...Can't guess from the art style

Hmm...I have no collection on reading that post...Must have missed it back then. After you mentioned it being one of the .hack sign/root series, the art does look familiar now

Yeah, I wanted to watch Samurai Champloo last summer...but for some reason, it just never happened o_O; I'm really bad at finishing series, actually...(I'll start them, but never finish)

you got it right, congrats! (I just checked wikipedia and you're right.) I never watched or read D Gray Man beofore so I wouldn't have been able to guess it ^^ now it's your turn to post a new anime for the us to guess.

haha...Same here. I started Samurai Champloo but I got addicted to the Sailormoon rpg that MoonPrincess recommended and I've not touch it since I finished the first box....another 13 or so episodes more...

@Rena: Azure Kite is a character, i know. he DIDN'T appear in .hack//SIGN, but, actually he DID appear in .hack//ROOTS slightly (Haseo believed that he was the one who PKed Shino and he fought Ovan and Phyllo once). I think he also appeared in .hack//G.U, but i'm not too sure either
