Curious to see if anyone is looking forward to the Indiana Jones movie coming out. It's Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I'm soooooo excited to see it. Coming out this week and can't wait for it.

I'm a huge favorite Indiana Jones fan, obviously. I like all of the movies but the third one (The Last Crusade) is the one I keep watching over and over. And I do favor those adventure movies.

So does anyone else like Indiana Jones? (And I hope it was ok to make a thread about this. I'm so excited for the movie to come out.)

I am looking forward to the movie. Harrison Ford seemed to still have the knack for the character in the trailers.

Oh, I am! I really liked all of them. I think I saw them when I was too little though. I remember all the scary parts but not the actual plot. I remember this room full of snakes, a skull with a snake, a treasure room with a giant snake, and when they open the ark and all the people melt. o.0 Can't wait though.

Imo, 2nd indiana jones movie was the best Love the asian kid XD "Alright doctor jones!"

So long people do posts about the topic its not spam, and the village is where we talk about things, so just go ahead, lets talk about Indiana Jones I even got some feelings that they all are Epic movies in some way so maybe I will merge this topic with that one and I cant wait to see the new movie, I really liked all the other movies and hope that this one not just is a way to earn more money, so it really got the standard from the other movies

@soloaris: I don't think the merge would be appropriate seeing at it's about different things. One's on discussing what makes epic movie, and the other's about indiana jone movie specifically.

And all hollywood movies are made for profit. Imo, their just milking whatever cow/sheep/goat that's still around. Let's just hope this 'milking' is a good movie

It's more of my boyfriend than me that is excited for the movie. He had me watch the movies over the summer since I have never seen them before. I just hope the kid in it(shia lasomething) doesn't mess up the movie.

We are looking forward to seeing this new Indiana Jones movie too. I remember the all of them quite quite well, Dis! The melting part was scarey.

Short Round is totally the best. XD But a lot of Temple of Doom really creeps me out. o_O All the movies are pretty good, though. ^.^

@carol: ahh, but he is old for movies Meaning his actions are going to be possibly slow or more stunt doubles. I hope it's not like Rush Hour 3 again. Jackie Chan's movements were so slow it was like watching a karate movie on slow. Painful to watch if you get what I mean

It's wierd, all of these years after meking the first 3 movies, and only NOW, so many years after, do they decide to make a 4th.

Me too. I've loved Indie from the start. Everything about them, I have the special edition collectors DVD set LOL. Harrison Ford is one of the centuries great actors in my book. From Star Wars to Air Force One to Regarding Henry(I think his best performance).

As far as age Sean Connery was old (as his father) and pulled off being dashing anyway

Mark saw Iron Man last week, so next it'll be my turn, and I'll be seeing this movie. I've been a Harrison Ford fan since Star Wars (when he was REALLY cute, and arrogant - but in a cute way )

I LOVED Regarding Henry, and Air Force One, and enjoyed the Clear and Present Danger series too. I think The Fugitive is the only popular movie of his that I haven't seen - I think I've started watching it twice, but both times had to stop not long into it for some reason or other.

I can’t wait for the new Indiana Jones movie! I love all the Indiana Jones movies but I think the second is my favorite. I love short round “hey lady you call him doctor Jones!” and I laugh every time he says ‘very funny”. Although the whole ripping peoples hearts out freaked me out as a kid, I had a phobia of letting people touch my chest for a while haha. I just watched temple of doom last night actually (trying to get all pumped up for the new one ), I have the SE trilogy on dvd as well Oracle.
I like the third one too though, the father son relationship was funny. I don’t think Harrison Ford is too old to do the part though. He’s a great actor and he’s one of those actors that are timeless. Sean Connery is way older and still can play the love interest with 20 or 30 something women.

@ Oracle I love Regarding Henry! I think it’s one of, if not his best, performance as well. It’s a really touching movie.

It is nice to see that I'm not the only one in the world who likes Indiana Jones.

But it's quite a good topic. Many good things have been said. Wish I could say more but sometimes don't say them as well as I want.

I do wonder how Harrison Ford will be able to still be Indiana Jones. Guess we need to wait for the movie to come out.

Thought the Temple of Doom was a bit creepy as well. Heard that the movie script was written during the screenwriter's dark period. Maybe that explains it.
