Strange problem: burning tracks on CDs #1

I've been having this problem and have no idea how to solve it, so I'm wondering if someone could know what to do about it. There is one particular album in my comp of which I can't manage to burn the tracks on a CD. I checked the properties and the files are neither Read only nor hidden nor protected. I don't know what else I should try to check and change and how. They are all mp3 files.

This is what happens when I want to burn them:
When using Nero express: When it takes me to the window from which I can choose folders and files to add to the list of tracks to burn, this folder won't appear in its location where it is at all. It just won't show there, not even when I select to display all types of files.
When using the program Burrrn, the folder and tracks show up, but after selecting them and clicking on Add, they won't show up in the list of tracks to burn, so I can't do it with that program either.
Any suggestions what to do?

What is also strange is that I tried getting the same album from a couple of other sites, that means they were differently named files uploaded on different upload sites, but then when it came to trying to burn them the problem repeated itself with them as well. It doesn't occur with any other files I have, so it must be something with the particular folder/tracks rather than with my burning programs.

Maybe there is something wrong with the files. They could be corrupted or something. I tried to burn a cd awhile ago with window media player and it wouldn't. it said the files weren't there, but they were. I tried to delete the music file and reload it but it still wouldn't burn. It could just be something wrong with the program.

If you can afford it sometimes it is the cds because I had a similar problem where it just wouldn't burn and that worked, but I don't know the two programs you are using so I'm not much help

Mmmm then maybe does anyone know about any other burning software that can be downloaded for free...?
Though it's really strange; I thought something was wrong with the files and that's why I tried downloading them again from two different locations! but still the problem was the same... and also it's strange that the problem occurs with both these burn programs So I'm clueless.

copy all stuff onto the desktop (without the folder), and then try..

Wow, Miki, it actually seems to work! O_o Thanks for the suggestion! I wouldn't have thought it could be so simple. I had tried before moving the whole folder somewhere else but I think I hadn't tried taking single tracks from it and moving them. I am not entirely sure yet if it will work because I don't have an empty CD right now any more, so I will try in one of the nearest days. But now after moving the tracks to desktops, opening Burrrn and selecting them from this new directory, they did show up in the list of tracks to burn normally, so I'm hopeful that the next steps will work too.

It was probably a protected folder then. . .

If that doesn't work, it might be that the recording company that made them did something to protect them from burning or sth...

If those tracks are meant to be listened in the radio or DVD players or even in the PC itself, you'll have to burn them directly into the disc and not inside a folder.

Yeah it was that the burning software didn't even want to accept that folder where the tracks were originally in (for Nero it didn't even show up at all, and for Burrrn it did but the tracks didn't appear on the list after selecting them), I know that for the burning of a music CD itself I am not supposed to put them into a folder... but yeah, looks like copying the tracks outside of their folder is going to help; today I bought the empty CDs so I will see then for sure ^_^
