Euhhh... not really much interresting, but just a little explanation about where my username comes from

My name's Catherine.
My friends use to call me Choun.
And I'm found of cats (I have 5 at home now).

That gave "Catchoun", simple, isn't it ?!




She met lots of other pirates she had to find a way to understand, since they didn’t used the same langage… wandering around the island, she found in a dark wet cave an old book in which she could learn most of their expressions and decided to share it with the community.

Argoyle comes from Argus (my last name) and Gargoyle.

The original Argoyle is a gargoyle statue that I have next to my computer at home. Here's a pic of him.




I have to keep a sharp eye on him, though, 'cause Elma is always trying to steal him away from me.

In April 2005 I registered as Indigo - at that time I didn't really care, and I was considering just visiting the forums at times because of the games... so I didn't think about the name much, and I was kind of obsessed with the indigo colour. And I kept it until now

So about my new actual username:
Luz is a part of what I've been already using on some other websites/forums (I use Luz Oscura on several ones.) I like it because in it's form and meaning it resembles my real name (Lucie, or Luci).
Then I chose Melian when after many years I was browsing the book Silmarillion again. I like the form or the name itself, and I like the character that has this name - a beautiful lady (one of the Maiar) who was a queen of Sindar (a branch of elves; I love elves too.)

I got my username from Haseo's class (adept rogue) from .hack//ROOTS.
And in case you don't know, I'm previously rhen_pendragon. I just change the username and stuff

I like to make beer.

Pandaba is one of my favorite Sanrio characters She's best friends with Badtz Maru and Hanako.

I actually kind of like character limits for usernames. I mean, it should be large enough to accomodate decently-sized usernames but some people make their usernames extremely long (I can think of one or two from the last forum). They were so long that they stretched the username column in the forums and crunched the other stuff together, making them more difficult to read >_<

Anyway...yeah...my username...
As you can see, I've kept mine. I contemplated changing it to Aeterna, the more feminine version of my name, but I think it's funny whenever people mistake me for a guy so I thought I'd keep it, if only for the extra laughs XD

"Aeternus" is a Latin word, meaning something along the lines of "eternal" or "everlasting". Basically, I wanted a unique username that no one else would think of and most people don't, so I end up using it a lot on forums because it means I don't have to try out a dozen different common usernames, looking for one that no one has registered yet! Plus, I like the "Ae" combination in words...I think it looks cool XD The meaning of Aeternus is also really nice, too.

But in the end, all I wanted was a unique username XD

Everace is a character I often use in what stories I write. The two most prominent aspects of his personality are innocence and virtue. Heh, now if only I could move my own personality a few notches in that direction!
