Oh, so we can say stuffs about our nicknames! I wanna give it a try!
I was called "Puppet" by my father... I don't know why though...
I was also called "my name here beans" by my father (again)... That's cause I used to love those little red bean things you eat for break fast!
And another name my father calls me is "Eliza-do-little" (Or elyza, how ever it's spelled).. It's cause it's very close to my name! And I think it reminds him of a show???

Cute nicks you've got there ^^ My parents almost never call me by my name as far as I could remember. They always address me as "Jie-jie" or "Jie" for short (Big/elder sister in Chinese, same as Oneesan in Japanese). This is probably one of the asian's practice to get the younger siblings to address their elder siblings in (what we consider to be )a more polite way rather than calling them by name. Somehow they got used to calling me by that nick that I find it awkward if they were to call me by my name...I'll give them a O_o look

Haha, funny... Now that you mentioned it, my parents almost never calls me by my name... My dad never did (He's gone now so...)... And my mom got used to the "puppet" name..

My wife has 2 usual nicknames for me: Honey Bear and Schmucko. Despite the connotation, the schmucko really is a term of endearment.
