I wanted to make sure if this works. Inverse psychology.
If there would be a huge red button in the middle of the street with the text "Do not press" 99 % of the people that passes it will press it as well. That's also the percent of people that aren't influenced easily.
It seems that people won't do something if they are told not to and they also have a reason. But if they're told not to but don't have a reason, they will surely do it. Which means that was pure curiosity.

To be honest, I would've done the same. It's just the curiosity. . People have the incontrollable desire to know more. And it can't be stopped

I've actually used this technique myself at times, so I kinda expected a "I TOLD YOU NOT TO LOOK!"

Reverse (Inverse?) Psychology used to work wonders on my little boy - "Don't you give grandma a cuddle before we leave...", "Don't you get your seatbelt on before me...", "As long as I get dressed before you do..." But that was when he was 5. He's 7 now, and he just thinks that's childish
