I was thinking of making a name that's easy to remember, "cool" (ugh I hated my old one, it was sooo uncool) and a name that will soon to be a legend XD (eww self-centered much lol) Coz I wanna start a fresh identity at this certain site, so yeah

I really like unique names and of course, GOOD last name to pair up with so I thought about the name "Ivana" because I loved it very much and "De Rossi" too add some Italian spice with it

My username is... pretty boring.

It came into existence way back when in the days when I roleplayed Warriors (the series about cats, which I have since given up). I had joined a roleplaying site started by a friend. My first character on that site was named Emberstar.

A little later I used Emberstar on a different site as my username. When I joined Amaranthia more recently, I reused the username because I tend to stick to old usernames so I can remember them. It isn't really attached to the old character anymore... it's much more my own name now. x)

A long long time ago all of my friends began to shorten my real name into something I hated, so I came up with a new name (Raine). Of course, it never caught on in real life, so I settled for making it my online nickname.

Then I wanted to create an actual character for myself. It couldn't be human, because that's just boring. I wanted it to be an impressive creature, one that would strike awe in friends and foes alike. And, being the bird lover I am, I settled on a gryphon. Not just any gryphon, though.

Raine has always been a gryphon with fur and feathers of deep red, the avian half of her being much darker in color. Her feathers also have black streaks accenting the..."mane" area, if you will.

And so, Raine the Gryphon With Wings of Flame was born. =3

You know, I think that's actually the first time I've... been introduced to the reason behind the name. And... XD I find it hilarious that you no longer hate the shortened version. XD That's it's really all I call you by... well... unless you count Chosen One and... erm... never mind. I don't feel like going into all 15 nick names.

My username stemmed from my need for a pen name. Arian Frae came into my mind... but the parentals thought it was too close to Aryan so I stuck an M to the front and thus was my user born. Yay. Such an exciting story.

XD Yes, Marian, that's exactly why I got over it. In grade school only my immediate friends gave me a nickname...but when high school came around, EVERYONE started calling me that. So, essentially, I gave up. Yay for me.

Mizzou is the nickname for the University of Missouri. I was born and raised in Missouri, lived in the same city as MU (yes, that's is the abbreviation, don't ask me why), both my parents and my older brother work at MU, and I got my BA from MU so I have alot of ties to it. Missouri is also the only place that I've lived in for more than a few years, I lived there til I was 22. I couldn't wait to leave when I lived there but now I miss being able to live in one place without having to move over a thousand miles every few years.

My name is just a homage to old video games with generic random bad guys. My name is so generic I gave myself a random number rather than a fancy name.

@mizzou UM would be a funny abbreviation... so they probably just switched for Missouri University(MU) instead of University of Missouri(UM)
