LOL I asked that question too. No idea why... Maybe when the isles are moving and changing, Thornkeep was swallowed, and the Mountain King with it.

The snow queen just outlived her husband or something. I think I like the shifting isles idea, it seems right... course, i could be wrong. they might be two different people who look like twins. Maybe the snow queen has an identical twin who is also a snow queen, and her name is Ishtar.

well if you care to look, some people look the same and yet live in different places, but the snow queen and ishtar are BOTH known as the snow queen who knows...

the snow queen is the the nymph itself. put it this way 'ishtar' was born and then became the 'snow queen'. since she is a nymph she is probably immortal and i remember that prince uther said that rhen was his great-great-grand mother so the mountain king has probably died. just shooting out different points

perhaps the mountain king decided to take a nap under one of the mountains. After all, there's not much you can do underground.

And when he wakes up: earthquakes will signal it, volcanoes will revive, and the mountain king will go look for a cup of coffee because everyone needs a cup to start the day XD

better have a lot of coffee or mountain king will get extremely grumpy and cause some avalanches O.o;;;

I think the Snow Queen, also known as Ishtar the nymph of what again.. killed the Mountain King, problably, he had made her angry again, just like the Fairies argument. Problaby, she killed him beacause of that. I have a question, isn't Gavin dead in Aveyond 2? I think I met him at Witchwood,he cast a love spell over the other witches in Aveyond 1. How can the isles move? Mind my long reply.

oh and gavin isnt dead,in fact he features in aveyond 2.he is even a playable character,he uses dark magic

Nah, I don't think so. When the Snow Queen and the Mountain King fight, they take it out on their people instead of each other. Really nice marital couple.

they dont take it out on their people,what they do is send out blizards and earth quakes hopeing to destroy each other and their people just happen to be in the middle of it all

You are probably right, but I kind of thought that the Mountain King and Snow Queen sent earthquakes and blizards to make one give up and admit either Mountain king or Snow Queen is right. No offences, bacman136.
