hmm...teleporting would be nice...

I'd like a power called "tongues." no, that doesn't mean i have excellent taste buds, it means i can understand and speak any language i hear or read. that would be excellent. then i could teleport to japan, saving myself the long plane ride and expensive ticket, and actually understand what was happening around me XD

wouldn't mind being able to fly (you know, for those shorter distances that teleporting would be impractical)

i'd love to be able to project my thoughts onto paper. i can compose pretty cool scenes in my head but i don't have the skill to draw them. same goes with stories--it would save me a lot of typing if i could just think what i want to write (yeah, yeah, speech recognition software, but...XD)

I've always been between three, personally:
1. Flight. Because who doesn't want to fly?
2. Telekinesis. Because I'm lazy and would like to not have to get up to get stuff sometimes.
3. Phasing. I would so love to be able to walk through stuff. <3

A super-power? To fool someone stupid 'nuff to do my homework an whole year.

I'd like to read ppl's minds also but b able to control it and control the stars and heavens.

I've thought about my super power a lot and I'd like to have the ability to control animals minds (for a short period and obviously only for good haha). The question here becomes what defines an animal...can I control something as small as a germ or antibody to hurt/heal? Probably not. As well, just what does the control allow? I imagine that the larger an animal (and larger the brain) the harder it would be to control (and would take more energy out of me) but the more I could do/learn with it. Could I control multiple at once? The possibilities are endless!

I'll agree with Aura on this one, teleportation would be the best ability ever! Other cool super powers would be flying and invisibility..

I see that others have chosen multiple powers, so I will do the same

1. Teleportation: Just think of the possibilities for travel and mental diversification that other cultural perspectives could give me!

2. Personal Light Source: You know a nice little ball of cool bright light to see by; good bye electric bills! (Come to think of it, maybe it should have a port so I can recharge my laptop and/or smartphone).

3. Catalyst: Others who hung out with me would develop the same skills as above. Then think of all the resources we wouldn't have to waste, we could turn parking lots and roadways into parks or community gardens... ohhhh the possibilities!

1. I agree with Jai on her second one. I'd love to be able to read my favorite books in the dark without no one knowing that I'm in the tree in the backyard! I just really don't want to get a 20 yard extension cord and figure out how to put the lamp in the tree so it won't fall.

3. It's Tei's but I've been dreaming about it ever sience I turned 7! It's the projecting your thoughts on paper. I could "write" some pretty neat stories.

I'd like teleportation as well! It would be sooo convenient! XD

The superpower to go back in time as well. For obvious reasons. And to stop bad things from happening. Also, I teleport 2000 years back in time to see what the land which my house is in now had looked like. It would be fun.

I'd like to have teleportation as my super power so that I can travel the world. Also it would be easier to get to lectures in the morning.

It would be great to have the ability to control time. So you could fit more into a day - make the work part go quicker and the fun stuff last longer

I would love the teleportation skill too. It would mean I could live lots of beautiful places and still be able to visit friends and family really easily.

I have always thought flying would be fun if it could be controlled and if the person in the air can breathe at the higher altitude.

I wonder about those couple of you who wanted the power to control the earth... I mean ... what would you DO with it? Throw it at the sun? Make us spin faster until we fill the oceans with our own vomit?

Well, there's no right or wrong answers here. Im surprised nobody has picked Immortality and/or Invulnerability. Nobody said anything about super-genius either! Come on, those are classics! Who DOESNT want to be able to create a death ray out of a toaster and a car battery?

Or maybe an ability similar to the character Diana LaTroy from Star Trek: The Next Generation's ability: To be able to sense strong emotions. That would be helpful when I'm trying to tell if my parents are angry at me.

Also, judging by Aveyond 3, I think it should be "Ahriman, Heptitus, and Gyendal. (Not to mention Galahad. And Te'ijal, to a certain extent)

At least Te'ijal isn't suicidal!! OK, so neither of them are insane... but Galahad has denial a lot of issues.

Anyways, Tei's "Tounges" skill does seem cool.

phoneixalia- Time travel, though it's cool, could mess up varouis things... you must be careful when time-traveling.... (note: Time turner- but that turns out good...)

Apparently, if while time traveling you make even the slightest change to the past you can completely change the present.
