AM Book Club- Vote for the books you want to read!

Please vote for the book(s) you would like to read and discuss in the AM Book Club. You are allowed multiple votes so please use them and vote for mulitple books. The book with the most votes will be the first we read (upon finishing our current reading list) the book with the second most votes will be the second and so on. If a book as no votes at all it will be taken off the list. If only a few of the books make it through this voting poll I will be posting another poll with different books soon.

I will not be posting the recommended age on any of the books this time around. There was a lot of argument about the ages I posted on some of the books, so this time I will be attached links for each book where you can see if this book is appropriate for you. If you are under the age of 16 please check with your parents before reading, purchasing or checking out any of these books from a library.

Please do not vote if you do not plan on being involved in any of the book club discussions. You do not have to be a book club member to partake in any of the discussions, but if you are interesting in becoming a member please click HERE

Actually upon their original release I think think the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was the first book. But since then the set as been re-released and re-released and in one of those the Magicians nephew is first because chronologically it happens first. If that makes sense

I suggest Crossfire by Miyabe Miyuki. A suspenseful, mature, thrilling read.

No offense, but most of the books there seem to be children's books. I could pinpoint several of them being on my grade 2 reading list.

Percy Jackson is a good book. It's funny, and it's actually pretty suspenseful.

But Harry Potter is a great book...

And of course, Lord of the Rings is suspenseful, exciting, and takes place in a med-evil type of time.

I'm not even in the book club, but I'm voting anyways.

I LOVE the His Dark Materials books, and of course I'd LOVE to discuss Inkspell too.

And of course, Harry Potter is always fun.

@Kirroha all of the books have been suggestions by book club members that i've recieved. Some of them are younger reading yes but I wanted all reading levels to be able to get involved. And also if it's a shorter book or easier read I'm planning on putting in some short story reads. Which will be stories posted by fellow AMers and some I find on the internet. Of coarse book club members are encouraged to give me any suggestions they have. Also since some of the books are really short, for example the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe... we may do two book discussions in a month. We will see how it goes.

If you guys will, please make any suggestions for future reads in the book club thread. As this thread will most likely be deleted after the poll is complete.

I love his dark materials too. I think it will be a great book or set to discuss and even debate. Alot of people feel very strongly about the books and their religious factors.

The "A Great and Terrible Beauty" sounds interesting.. i think i'll check if the town library has it. ^^ Any recommendations? is it any good?

And LadyTwilight: i noticed (yes yes, facebook again..sorry) that you have read quite a many Charlaine Harris books. This town library didn't have ANY of her books so i actually send them a suggestion to order one! (it was Dead Until Dark) If it's good, i'll make them order them all!! hihihi
