I'd be willing to help with sprites. I can't make my own sprites, but I'm good enough at frankenspriting and recoloring. ^^

I don't want to sound rude but... do all your maps look so empty, or are this just unlucky shots? especially the treasure room could use some extra scenery, or should maybe just be smaller.
That's my opinion anyway, do with it as you want ![]()

I am not using RPG VX anymore. Those were just early maps. My maps now are either much smaller or more filled.

Ok guys, I've had some really really bad times and am currently going through Dengue (wasn't lying, Yan)
Anyways, here's the maps I do have right now with me. More will be updated and this time, I do mean, will. This project was thoroughly neglected in the past but now since I'm a lot more free and my board exams have ended, here you go... Lets start off with the few changes I've made First of all, due to a change which I plan in the story and a recommendation from Yannes, the main character and leader is now Dattie Chan. So without further ado, let me introduce, Dattie Ravelton ![]() Another screenshot which should give you a full idea of the house if you compile with the other one: ![]() Dattie is an only child. This might be so but she's not spoiled. She can be wicked and cunning but her heart is in the right place. She deeply cares for people behind her facade. However, Dattie's works around town are something that make for interesting viewing. ![]() ![]() Mr. Steven is Dattie's long time neighbour. He's used to Dattie's antics but he doesn't hate her. He likes children and general and is nice to everybody which stops Dattie from annoying him as much as she does the others. In case you are wondering, Sir Walton is Franz's Dad. Since Dattie is the leader, here's the vote of confidence and she is also the leader of finance. ![]() Dattie does not get on well with her town's innkeeper either! ![]() More maps can be expected tomorrow with a view of Kitkat's house as well. Hmm... I'm not trying to be mean or anything but I noticed that in all your pics there is something wrong with the mapping.
1: For instance walls, you sometimes don't have them where they should be. 2: With the house in one pic, you can see that you only used one tile for the walls, you should use the other tiles that are for houses as well. 3: Three like the walls, for the mountain you have forgot to put the bottom bits on, these make it look like it's connecting to the ground. So I think you should have them. 4: One last thing try not putting trees in rows with room between them, it looks more natural if there in different places. I hope you take these into condsideration and don't think that I'm tring to be rude.

Gibratania-
It's a huge city with many many shops. This section of the city is the area where the poor reside ![]() This is the entrance to a little forest grove outside Dattie's hometown. ![]() I know this one is empty but it's meant to be this time around since this is a small forest

Gibrantia looks good. I really can't map a town so yay for you :3
Status screen looks good, except the windowskin looks weird with it. Also, maybe try to change 'Next Level'. It's a bit cramped up, if you get what I mean ^^

I have tons of windowskins in my rmx resource folder, but I don't really know where I got them from, only who I should credit XD, but if you google for them you should find them easily :p
bt,w I can see ypu made progress on your mapping, the town still looks somewhat random and generic, but it looks quite good and less empty than your earlier maps. Great job!

I've changed the name of the game. I like the new one better.
Anyways, here's the entire city of Gibratania. This is the main city of the whole game since our school is her. Oh and it's also the city that was supposed to resemble Thais from AP but I couldn't do it very well. So here: ![]() Oh and I want people to identify the school!

Well, the south part of the city looks okay, but those blue houses look kind of empty at the moment.
I'm guessing the school is the building with the red roof and the flowers on it? Oh and I like the new name ^^

Yes, it is.
And the blue building to the top is the training arena of the same school. Thanks for the advice, I'll be adding some stuff to the blue buildings P.S-Anyone got a good name for the school? Collegium of War and Magic sounds like I've ripped it off from Aveyond.
