As for me I dislike Dameon and the reason is not his goattee or his hair style (if you can call THAT a style)...these two including his awful colored robe are only good for making fun of his "awesomeness". Also reading the previous comments I noticed that someone said that Dameon has grown through the game. LOL and where's the prove of that =P Lars is the only one that changes and grows..Dameon is just a half bold idiot. If he was a druid in our guild, I bet we would kick him out from it lol

I don't think that Dameon is that awful. Actually, I never hated him for how he looks like (that doesn't mean that I like his appearance either, but like Moony, it's not why I don't like him.) I just felt he is so random. As I stated before, to me who seemed very weird. First he appears as a traitor, then all of the sudden I find him in the temple of Aveyond. He offers to help Rhen. I accepted his offer when he first offered it. At that time, I thought he was going on with his betrayal plan. But he never actually done anything that would do any good for Ahriman. I never saw the emotions in his speeches. All the time I thought he was trying to win Rhen's trust, so that when he does whatever he is planning to do, Rhen would be so sad & so weak. But when I reached the end, & I found out that there is no plan, he will just join Ahriman & try to convince Rhen, it was a big let down for me. It's only then that I realised he fell in love with Rhen for real. Still, it doesn't sound realistic! All of the sudden he loves his very enemy & even helps her. He could simply refuse to help opening the room of the sword of shadows! Then came the fairy dust scene. Seriously? He didn't know that Ahriman is the bad guy before? That's when Dameon entered my "Watch out! He's boring" list. Maybe if he sounded more realistic, I'd have been one of his fans, especially that I prefer the princess ending.

I've never hated Dameon for his appearance- of course, I don't like it either- but that's not why I hate him.

However, now that I think of it, I dislike Dameon, but I don't hate him. I don't hate Danny either, just dislike him enough to write a song about that dislike. And Lars... he's not bad, but I really don't find RhenxLars to be that interesting. I just don't like Lars, and I don't like Rhen. People act like she's such a great character- She's not. She has a personality, but no... dimension(?).

Appearances are just easier to bring up, you know?

I'm thinking that appearances are, in general, just bonuses--it helps popular characters if they're attractive, and if you don't like a character and also happen to find them unattractive, well then. There you are.

Aveyond pairings all don't work for me. I usually choose to wander Aveyond for the rest of my life, AKA not choose anything and just walk around randomly until I get sick of everything.

I don't see how Dameon is awesome. It doesn't make sense in any way. He is a traitor who acts NOT like a traitor. I mean, if he really was a traitor we would've seen him telling Rhen that Ahriman isn't all that bad. And why on earth did he think Ahriman was a good guy in the first place is beyond me. It's completely RIDICULOUS.

Dameon insulted Danny once, because he's jealous. That's kinda stupid if you ask me. What's all that talk in the posts above saying that he grew up? It's just the cliche thing where bad guy sent to trick girl, then for some reason falls in love with girl and started having doubts. Someone already said it but again: If Rhen didn't use the Fairy Dust, he'd still be OMG TEH EVILZ!!! I also agree that the only person who seemed to change is Lars. He's not as pompous as he used to be, not as arrogant and he cared about others a little more.

One more thing: Dameon is a weird bipolar jerk. When the party ended the mission and arrived at the temple in Aveyond, Dameon would tell Rhen something along the lines of "I love you but we can't be together because I'm a something-hundred year old sun priest". Okay. If we choose anything BUT being Queen, he would say something like "I thought you loved me? Whyyy?" Dude, you just said you two can't be together!! Why protest? It kinda reminds me of Edward Cullen's "I'm dangerous, stay away! But I can't stay away from you, so let's hang out anyway". @_____@ GEEZ MAKE UP YOUR MIND DUMBASS!!!!!!!

LarsxRhen used to be my OTP until I started making crack pairings and... got carried away. My crack pairing always involves the daevas one way or another. I think it's fun to note that I used to do something about an Aesma and Rhen pairing. I ditched it because it's too stupid. Current OTP is EitheraxSaurva (yess, Eithera TOPS) because I just like it. For no good reason.

I saw it as him acting the mole, trying to gain Rhen's trust and/or love so that she would stay with him when he went back to Ahriman in the final battle.

@pink: but you yourself wasn't exactly respectful/polite either as a dameon supporter, as moony pointed out. And let's face it, there's way more lars fan than there are Dameon. Why would you expect much dameon loving from such a large Lars fanbase?

Also, you can take comfort that your pairing is actually canon as oppose to the more crack-ish pairings which have no proof at all except in the writer's 'twisted' mind.

Basically. To me, Rhen isn't a exciting/interesting character. Actually, the only AV main character/protagonist that I find interesting is Mel. Talia's kind of interesting, but I dislike AP, so...

No! Any pairing with Te'ijal other then T/G messes up T/G! () Plus, when people write ___x___x___, it confuses me- does it mean "love triangle", all three make one pairing, etc.? (However, I do not mind Elini and Lars since Elini has a harem, and therefore can still marry Pirate John.)

I write T/R WITH T/G relationship intact. Though its more of a 'pet/master' relationship with T/G than a 'lovey mushy' one. Aka, Teijal treats G as a pet she's trying to 'train'.
