Mel x Edward. Because it's more interesting. At least there is no cliche 'love-resurrects-you' at the end. And no, I don't hate Stella.

nah, I believe u. although, you should try to be a little more open-minded. I mean "he's half bald" and "the hermit ending is better" are things that re able to be jumped to without any thought at alll. PLEASE don't try to think he is horrible automatically. Just sleep on it.

@pink: On the other hand, I think it *is* fangirl-y. Could you elaborate on the reasons why he is the best person in the game? For starters, he *was* a traitor to the group. Emphasis on 'was', because he did change - at the last minute with item use. No, he didn't change on his own - at least, he didn't change enough on his own as to shake off Ahriman by the time the final battle rolls around.

Automatically condemning Dameon as 'horrible' isn't much different on declaring him as the 'best person ever' without clear evidence, I think.

Personally I think Dameon's hairstyle has been WAY overblown and shouldn't be an indication on whether or not he's a good character. It's probably a regulation sun priest hairstyle anyway.

I personally like characters with shadowy motives and love stories where people learn things from their lover. Rhen helps Dameon grow and eventually learn to forgive his mother and join the good side. That's one of the reasons why I love the queen ending. Even if Rhen doesn't *want* to be queen, she knows her duty and accepts it - and even if she wasn't trained as a queen, she certainly has plenty of time to study up on it, and she's a very quick learner. And with Dameon by her side, she'll learn to enjoy
her position even.

And I'm not going to argue anymore. I'd rather gush about Te'ijal and Galahad being the best AV couple anyway.

@elemental: because there's nothing to discuss/argue/debate about? It's like why is no one discussing ean/iya in all their gory details: There's NOTHING to talk about them. There's no conflict unless you want to discuss the relationship itself in finer details.

But since a majority of fangirls just want to rage about how their pairing is the best with various heart symbols than there really is nothing to discuss.

DAMEON"S AWESOMENESS REASONS LIST:

1)He is hot. That brooding scowl makes my heart flutter. I love a man with a fierce face!
2)He sees the wrong of following Ahriman. He is changed by Rhen and "sees the light". I think that is very touching.
3)He is such a gentleman. *Dameon kisses Rhen's hand* is a good example. Now, who here likes guys that are rude? I sure don't.
4)Compared to other endings, him and Rhen's is the best. Hermit? Ewwww! Lars? I don't see him as a love match for Rhen. A good friend, maybe. Queen of Thais with Dameon ruling by her side? She reins a really good rule, helps the city prosper, and she shows true girl power by CHOOSING who she wants to marry.(no offense to those out there who respect arranged marriages)
