Ok I can't change my password, signature or avatar. Everytime I try it just reverts back to the original.

I double checked I wasn't doing anything I shouldn't, my signature is just plain text, my new avatar is 89x75 and 30kb and I haven't been able to change my password since I forgot my old one and requested a new one.

Oh and I have tried to use one of the default avatars and again it won't let me use these either.

I wouldn't mind but I'm trying to change my avatar as someone has said my current one scares them so can someone please help.

Very Curious... the only reason passwords aren't accepted is if they aren't the same (read: there are two entries that much match).

One solution is to type your new password into notepad (or your choice of editor), copy it, then paste it into the two password fields.

If this is not accepted, please feel free to write me (Support@Amaranthia.com) and I'll look into it for you... who knows, perhaps your password has some curious character that is not being parsed properly.

I tried that as I thought maybe I was doing something stupid, but I don't even get an error message it display "no error" so you'd think it should have done it but no. I’m not using any strange characters just normal with a number. I’m wondering if it could be that I’m using Vista and IE8, maybe if I try and clear the cache before I try again.
If it doesn't work I'll email you my machine spec and a screen shot of what's happening.

Well... I can save you a bit of time... it's not Vista, nor IE8... and it's not related to cookies either, as the request to set the password isn't taken from or set to any cookies.

Occationally people have difficulties with passwords... thankfully, it's quite rare

If you'd prefer, I can simply reset it to something and then you can try your desired password again...

Would being unable to change my password restrict my ability to change the other things too.

The only way that might be true is if the password was changed, but you've not logged out. You may want to log out, and check to see

Thank you bryce for changing my password, but I give up trying to change anything else as it just won't let me. I guess I just need to apologise to anyone frightened of spiders and say I have tried honest.
