I've been playing a very interesting game, that has graphics similar to that of AP/Aveyond. The gameplay is non-linear, it's very open. In other words, the main plot is completely optional. Here is a short list of what you can do:

1. Go kill monsters, earn fame, enter dungeons, find treasure and weapons, destroy bosses. Dungeons, treasure, weapons, bosses, these things are all randomly generated. There are an infinite number of dungeons, in other words.

2. Buy and run your own houses, mansions, shops, museums, ranches, farms.

You can decorate your cave/shack/house/estate/mansion with a near limitless supply of furniture, however you see fit, and also hire servants.

You can have your own shop or chain of shops and sell the items that you make or find.

You can own a farm that lets you plant and grow vegetables, fruit, herbs, and even weapons and armor!

Ranches let you breed the hundreds of monsters in the game to each other, producing new characters.

3. You can travel around trading goods in cargo caravans, to any of the different towns and villages, making money.

4. You can be a wandering minstrel that plays music for money.

5. You can hire traveling companions, buy pets, trains pets, fight them in the arena, feed them. You can also catch monsters in the wild using "monster balls", like pokemon.

6. You can get married and produce offspring, and then leave your belongings, house, everything to that offspring, and play the game as your heir.

And much, much, much more.

Simply put, the game is as close to infinite as you can get.

I wasn't sure whether this is the right place to talk about other games, since the game isn't mine, and since it isn't an Amaranthia game, so I won't provide a link here until a moderator tells me it's OK.

Looks like fun! Though currently my time possibilities don't allow me to play any games =(
But yes, you can post about it in this subforum with the link to it and maybe screenshots if you want - people normally post there about games that they like and recommend, it don't have to be just games you made yourself

No, the correct way is in this topic, since it's neither your own game, nor do you have permission from the creator to post it (which would be in Homemade Games), nor is it being advertised on the sidebar (which would be in Other Games in Amaranthia).

Hmm I have been seeing people make topics about games [that they didn't make; no idea about the permissions though] in the Finished games section all the time... I find that better "overviewable" when each game has its own topic. But nevermind about it.

I tend to agree with Luz_Melian's post. When posted in this thread, a game will disappear in a matter of weeks. (I don't know many people who would read a 65 pages thread to find some new games when the posts have no particular order.)

It's easier and "friendlier" when every game has its own thread because you can read the first posts only if you just want a general idea of the game and then move on to another thread.

I know this is Amaranth's site and not a general RPG site, but I believe it would still be fun to see a sub-forum where people can suggest any RPGs they loved and not only Homemade ones.

We are not stopping you from obtaining permission from the creators to post the game in Homemade Games. Quite the contrary, we encourage you to do so. The Homemade Games forums were created primarily so that users of the site have somewhere to showcase their works, not so people can introduce other games to the site. And yes, some actually intro games like no tomorrow simply to gold mine. That's what we're trying to prevent.

I agree with aisling.You can't go on posting games that you haven't made in homemade games without asking the creator of the game though i don't think that creator will stop for posting a link to his game but we can't tell whats in the creator's mind and if you have noticed then in most of the games in homemade games forum the creators are frequently posting in his game topic that means that they gave permission for posting a link to their or game.

So i think its better to take permission from the creator before posting a link to his game.

I recently came across a fun game called 'Alice's Tea Cup Madness'.It's a dash game like 'Diner Dash'.
There aren't any new RPG's round to play and I've already finished TLO so this was ample entertainment. I finished the trial and it was so much fun lol xD

Well.I usually avoid playing time management games till they have something new(leaving dinner dash but nowadays i try to avoid them also because if i will start playing them then i can't stop myself.)

Well,honestly speaking,I like playing dash games but they don't hold my attention very long
Especially diner dash,the crowds get outta control sometimes.I fing it somewhat good as a focusing exercise though.

lol i remember.first time management game i played was dinner dash 2.lol it was so difficult in the end.I spent hours on it to just complete the game.yeah i agree the crowds are really difficult to control.Walkthroghs also didn't worked.

Walkthoughs for diner dash?? haven't heard of that.
I found diner dash 2 quite enjoyable though.Much easier than part 1

wedding dash.lol i enjoyed it also.It wasn't difficult but still i enjoyed it a lot.

yeah.Not as difficult as diner dash but sometimes the guests would get real cranky.I also hate how the old man takes so long to eat.Breaks up my chain scores xD
