@ minnie - The last battle will be really difficult unless you have fought alot of monsters on the way, upgraded your equipment from the gold you collected, and also levelled up. I had Sakyra, Silk, the dwarf (i forgot his name) and Duncan in the party. You have to have a healer (thus sakyra).
If you already haven't upgraded your equipment from the dwarves, you should do so. If you're running low on money, I suggest you keep battling monsters in the mines, keep building up your gold and in the process, your characters will also level up and learn new skills. Otherwise, you'll get defeated. It sure took me a lot of time, but I managed to defeat the giant dwarf. This is the only way I know, for now Hope it helps.

You bet, Minnie! He's a toughie!
The best way to beat the Giant Dwarf (I love that name ) is to keep the party the game gives you by default (Duncan, Chev, Kryngk, Sakyra). Make sure you have at least 10 Ethers with you (if you don't have any, you can purchase them in the Melonchi Caves in the Waterfall area). You may also wish to buy a Life Potion Plus or two just in case. Make sure your weapons/armor are all around the Silver level (meaning, Duncan's weapon and armor are the Silver type; Sakyra is wearing Mummy stuff, and Chev is wearing at least the Mesh Lite and has a new sword). You can buy weapons/armor from a dwarf in Melonchi Mines in the 'basement' (bottom-left corner from the main area, climb the rope down). You'll really *really* need Sakyra to have learned Heal All II by the time you fight this boss. Chev should have Throw Weapon and possibly Konijan Dust. Duncan should have at least the Random Attack Multi. It's helpful if you level up Kryngk to where he learns his first ability, but it's not necessary. During the boss fight, have Duncan and Chev keep hacking away at the Giant Dwarf with Random Attack Multi (or anything stronger, if you have it) and Throw Weapon (if Kryngk has learned his first skill, use that as well). When they run out of MP, fill them up with with an Ether and keep hacking away. Meanwhile, have Sakyra heal characters with Heal II (if the Dwarf attacks just one character) or Heal All II (if the Dwarf attacks everyone with a spell) every round. On the rare chance that no one was injured during a round, Sakyra can a little bit of damage with Lightning. Just keep at that and you should take him down after a little bit of effort ![]() Let me know if that helps! (also let me know if I've just confused you and I need to clarify whatever I just said )

From the mini walkthrough --
Once you have both Keys head back to the room on the bottom left and it shall unlock for you. Inside of that room, check all of the bookshelves and you shall find the Master Key which should open up the room in the lower right side.

Never change the beer jokes. I noticed that there were fewer in Episode 2, although I enjoyed the chat between the dwarf and the sailor about the relatives virutes (or vices) of Klu Bru. One of my biggest laughs in one of your PDAMill games was going to PIke and finding Pike's Hard Lemon. That cracked me up more than the spinning monkey.

Shilo!
(maybe I should include discount tickets to dry cleaners and a warning with Arvale?)Ah, you leveled up Cyper enough to learn his special skill Political Speech I loved the idea of confusing enemies with Politics. Cyper's other special skill called 'Royal Succession' is great too.I left the Beer jokes strictly to inside the Pubs for now (no more long Beer Quests) which keeps them contained in their own little world Speaking of Pike, Duncan will be going back there in the near future...And now you have me wondering, what is a spinning monkey? In any case, I'm glad you enjoyed the game ![]()

In the DeMenchev story, south of Queous, is the temple that starts the story. At some point, DeMenchev returns there (I forget if it was past or future), and has to talk to the monkeys to obtain the monkey key. In one glade, there are three monkeys, one of which is spinning in circles the way chimpanzees do. It just cracked me up!
I'm loving the idea of getting back to Pike! I got Royal Successor at one point, but too late in the game to use it. Once I've purchased all the Arvale Episodes, I'll be playing them from beginning to end, no doubt. For now, thanks for the game!

Oh, *that* spinning monkey
I still have fond memories of that jungle.Don't worry, you'll be able to see Royal Succession and more of Cyper's other skills in the next episode as he joins the party again and plays a pretty major role in the-- I'll stop there for suspense ![]()

Speaking of which: You can read some juicy tidbits of info on the upcoming Episode 3 here: http://bit.ly/b64FNK
I'm not sure how information can be juicy, or even divided into tidbits, but you know... figure of speech ![]()
