Making future chapters has to more difficult - not only is the existing world all there and reset but new areas get added. So, LOT had lots of areas we couldn't go to, but here we can go further than before and further with each chapter in the future presumably. Each successive chapter is much larger than the one before it.

With each new chapter, there are also some places in previous chapters that won't be accessible. Not so much between LoT and GoN, since they were created as a single game. But there were several areas in LoT and GoN that won't be accessible in TLO. When DTP is made, there will be lots of new areas again, but many of the areas from LoT/GoN/TLO won't be accessible.

So your world is expanding, because more and more opens up to you with each chapter, but it doesn't get boring, because we don't allow you to spend too much time in the old, familiar places

I really don't know how you all do it, but your Aveyond games truly get better every time - that's some serious feat! I was hooked way, way back with Rhen, and as much as I love going back & playing the first two Aveyonds, the Orb quests are superb - so huge thanks to you all in the Amaranthia world!

Oh & would just like to add that these are the best value for money games I've ever seen, I feel guilty getting so much fun out of just $10!

haha i loved it!!! though the ending was a bit quick...I so wanted more I was playing it for the adventure story and romance I'm a big sucker for romance and I love spook though it kinda shocked me what happened XD good game overall again :0

I just finished the game Well,pretty much stating the obvious but it was way beyond awesome.The big surprise at the end was shocking and I was literally gaping at my computer screen xD

So far I'm liking it, but It's /really/ crummy not having a healer in your party. Don't have Spook yet, but he doesn't seem to be the healing type to me. Additional Goodie for a second build that lets you take Stella? Pretty please?

@mara: not part of the programming crew but from what I can tell, probably not. Adding a new chara isn't that easy and it wouldn't make sense in game since stella blatantly said she will not join mel even to the end of the game. The other goodies make sense as treasure troves. Stella joining randomly? not really.

I found the same - I didn't even really need to stock up a great deal on supplies. As long as I topped everyone up prior to a battle, there were very few where I "just scraped through"

And KTC's right - Stella won't be joining you, even via a goodie. Apart from the changes to the storyline, it would require WAY too much time to add her in everywhere.

I don't understand why everyone is saying that the game is short. I've played for over three hours and I'm on my second trip to Eldrion and only have June in my party. True, I did take my time exploring and I'll probably finish every side-quest, but I think that makes the game even more exciting. Plus, nothing beats Aveyond puzzles.

Maddie, some people rush through a game as quickly as possible, just to say they did it quickly.

However, doing that means they miss so much of the richness of the game, but that is their choice. They also often use strategy guides, goodies, walkthroughs, look at the forums immediately if they don't know how to do something, rather than take the time to play the game as intended. Many also click through conversations without reading or paying attention to them, so they don't get crucial clues about what to do. (That's obvious from some of the posts on the forums. ) So, they miss many sidequests, don't talk to everyone, etc. It's definitely their prerogative to play that way, but when they then complain that a game is too short or easy, it is sad. Everyone should play in the way he/she prefers, but complaining if you've taken the 'easy' route ...

Above all, we want everyone to thoroughly enjoy the game by playing it however he/she likes. We just hope those who rush through enjoy it as much as those who take their time and explore and talk to everyone. Some NPCs have hilarious comments if certain conditions are met.

The whole game had me gritting my teeth for what was about to happen next! Brilliant! The caves were challenging, the monsters better than ever and the ending: OMG! I want to continue playing NOW! I can't wait for the next chapter already. I am going to replay TLO until I've tackled all the quests as I'm sure I have forgotten some in the process.

Okay, understood, Stella can't join, but the highest healing item that I can buy (so far) is Milk for 150HP... It's not adequate. I have to buy a /lot/ of them. Maybe add in something stronger?

And no, you don't /need/ a healer. But you also don't /need/ a mage, a theif, a shapeshifter... It's just a convention that every other aveyond has had.
