I'm just sad because Dirkon isn't there.

I'm one of those persons wondering what happened to Dirkon, especially after having the goose laying golden eggs!

I would think Dirkon was able to grow after the goose. Or I guess they could have became horribly corrupted and the city lay in ruins.

@Stardale: You ain't the only one I sort of mis-typed and lumped Dirkon together with the Lowlands in my previous post, though.

yeah, I agree with the Dirkon thing. It's the continuation of plots/characters from other chapters that gives this game more depth, and that's why I've really kept going with it more than any other game out there.(In Aveyond 1 it felt great to enter onto the ruins of Thais, and in this chapter it felt great to wonder if the dreamer is still Talia!

Also glad the Mel/Lars 8 thing is canon. I don't think Edward showed much personality. I hope we get a little bit of the Lars the 8th story in a later chapter, actually. It's too bad we didn't meet him (even briefly) in this one.

@ mayflower: You're one of the very few who things Lars 8/Mel is better than Ed/Mel. Not even /I/ think it makes sense and given my crack-shipping tendencies, that's saying a lot. I only like Lars 8/Mel because I ship Mel/anyone who isn't Edward and vice versa (Ed/anyone who isn't Mel and/or Lydia).

Regarding Landscape.

Sedona: In AV1, Sedona is in a peninsula and it's in the "middle", so to speak, of Western Isle. The Lowlands are way south of the peninsula. In AV3, Lowlands are gone, Sedona is land-locked, and is located quite near the southern tip of the Island. So the Lowlands has sunk, then?

Dirkon: Unless it has somehow merged with Sedona or relocated, there's no sign of it existinf. Unless it's one of the places that "you don't need to go there therefore you can't see it". Maybe the goose died and then they don't have gold eggs anymore so the village wrecked

I'm waiting for the TDP maps to be released so I can compare it to the AV1 maps.

Am I the only person who loathes Mel/Ed? Everywhere I see people were squealing how Mel/Ed should've been canon.

I support Mel turning evil/into a vampire *points to sig*

All continents may indeed changed by Tectonic plate, as we remember at the Eastern isle has mountainous area in the south that covered the Wildwoods completely hence it move north-eastward resulting the sunkage of Lowlands, Oldwoods and some lower parts of Peninsula as well but the fate of the South Isle may indeed sunk down because of less mountainous area however IDK how the hell Myster Far move to center that once infested w/ Witches (the forgotten New Witchwood) or Gred'ahre(for some circumstances possible they still live there) which is Halloween hills and also home of Pirates.

Ghed'ahre has removed itself from the surface of Aia entirely.

Probably coz Halloween Hills disappeared, so the vamps rebuilt Ghed'ahre in the Underworld and the witches... just went elsewhere.

@d_a: Certainly not- I don't really like Ed/Mel either. (But come on, you know me well enough to know that I'm also into odd pairings)
Though in the case of AV3, I really don't care about pairings as long as it's not Ed/Mel.

I'm fine with Edward/Stella and Edward/Mel. I think Edward/Stella is actually more believable this game. Since those two traveled together the whole game, so they could have gotten closer.

I really loved Edward and Belf, I actually loved them, they're just so funny...Belf I could consider one of the best Non Playable Characters.

I so hope Amanda have a change of heart and went to this lovely and funny pairing.

I hope we get more of Te'ijal and Galahad because I'm currently replaying LoT and GoN and Te'ijal just brings it, really. She's an entertaining character and such a good humor - Human or Vampire.

Thank you for all the nods to the previous games. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed hearing the old music, both originals and updated versions. When I was playing Ean's Quest, I'd fly the dragon around in circles just to listen to the song, and I was thrilled when Edward and Crew took flight to the new variation. Yeah, they had to fly around in circles for a bit, too. ;-)

So throw us a bone, Amaranth! I'm jazzed about the upcoming "mystery game" in April, but when do we get a return trip to Aveyond???

You liked the interaction between Te'ijal and Galahad in this game? o.0 I found it disturbing and out of character. Galahad trying to dominate his wife by pulling out a marriage contract or whatever was horrible. Te'ijal in the other games would have started the Aia feminist movement right then and there. >=(

And out of curiosity, whatever happened to all of those cities in Aveyond 2 , like Ryva or Ravenwood. And what about those islands south of the mainland in Aveyond 2. Like the one with Happily Ever After. Did they disappear?

I don't understand why we're discussing this. Remember how the Mainland disappeared in AV1? XD

Guys, like I said before, they didn't disappear. They just aren't important to the story, so they're not shown. Do you honestly think Amanda would include every city on the maps? No. That'd be way too much.

well I hope in AV4 all places from AP to AV3 appeared and that make it cool

I doubt that'd happen. That's a lot of places and would be an overload of cities.
