We'll probably keep to the same pattern. Not sure if we'll be interviewing EVERYONE (as in people like Lydia who WERE playable characters but only NPCs in TLO and TDP)

I think this chapter was too short. Hopefully the saga will be finished soon. I thought they come out every three or four months rather than having to wait til December. I read somewhere there was going to be 6 chapters. I sure would like one whole game that lasts forever. I love the characters and although I hate wating for the chapters, I am totally hooked on the whole Aveyond series.

You have to keep in mind that GoN was around written and made, which is why it was released quicker. Amanda has to start from scratch with each new chapter after GoN.

I can't wait for TDP, however anyone know how many chapters there will be?

Yes that is what I want too. Just consolodate all chapters in one game. That would be sooooooo cool. I would definately buy it for sure

@cheryl: I think that would be very difficult since each chapter are programmed as independent games. Many edits/deletions were needed in order to change the LOT/GON maps to just TLO maps so that things made sense. For example, a dude telling you that you need a death certificate to get through the catacombs in LOT/GON would need to be changed in TLO since it would be misleading to new TLO players.

If the games were consolidated, the game would have to be made from scratch as you simply can't just pile the maps of LOT/GON/TLO together and expect it to work.

Besides, each chapter now is averaging about 65 MB. Put six chapters together and wowza! There goes our dial-up connection players

Believe it or not I just finished TLO and I LOVED it.

I cannot wait till TDP comes out. I hope it does come out around Christmas that would be a great present..lol.

@KTC no biggy I will still purchase all the games because I like them so much. I am a really old lady and love to play the old time games from by past. Amanda does a great job and I get impatient but she will never lose my patronage for sure. However would'nt that be an awsome long game? OMG it would be great.

So much for the every 3 months idea. Now it's up to almost a year for a Chapter to come out?

Not good. Too much time and too many other games in between, to keep interests up.
Lots of young customers will just move on. I hate to see that.

This game, Lost Orb, was too short, but it was most enjoyable! Up to the usual standard that we have come to know and love. Hope Chapter 4 will be nice and long and I am loving the prospect of being reunited with Teijal and Galahad.

Short as in more stories and such.. Long as in an adventurous part where we get to do lots of sidequests and go to a lot of places..

Heck, short or long, who cares...just want to see the next part of the story! As for players moving on - the demo gets published all over the net, they'll come back for more - Aveyond is that kind of series

Linear does not equal to short.
