ok - I'm 10hr in and wishing I chose easy mode over normal. Is there a way to change it?

Sorry, you can't change the difficulty mode during a game.

Oh well, it was just frustrating going though all those scrolls and potions in Land's End and Mt. Orion - but now normal mode seems good again - go figure
