I just fought the Grand Elder in the Temple and tried to leave via the other exit so I could use the totem to complete another quest and it sends me back to the entrance to that room, I cannot go through the other door to use the totem in the side room... What should i do now?

I'll have to find out why it's sending you back to the entrance. That other exit takes you out of the temple.
You can still finish the totem quest either way. I'm not sure which side room you mean but once you have all 10 totems you take them back to Python Village.

Well, in the beaches outside city of vanquished there are some raised hills that I can't figure out how to get on top of; and in the vanquished city I have a yellow vortex I don't know what to do with??

i dont know if this is a related topic or not but i don't think you should have to pay for a strategy guide when all you need is a little halp now and then.it really sucks to have to buy it. sorry just had to get that off my mind .im one huge fan. love all the john wizard games

You don't have to pay for a strategy guide if you don't want it. They still answer questions on the forum. It was just for people that wanted stuff all together.

@belinda: Take the left exit of the puzzle room and use the yellow vortex to explode the blocks of the same color like you did with the earlier ones.

@Belinda: lol the one in the inn, where you got the yellow vortex. As for the hills, you'll be able to get there a bit later from the church.

the red flower is not present in inventory even after collecting.(four graves present inside the volcano city jail)

I'm stuck in Cypress Swamp on the puzzle with the 7 snakes and the four barrels. I tried over and over again, but can't figure it out. So please help me
PS.: I love the game so far, its a really nice gameplay. Edit.: I just did it yeah.

Ugh I know what happened now, just read about a bug where the chest eats items, and i tried to use a page there....
