Sierra had just been guilded before I left. I remember him and liked him, but I wouldn't call him a "close" friend.

I'm not trying to be mysterious. I posted here so that he would see it and know I am glad he's back, but I didn't want to make a big announcement about his return--that's for him to do if he wishes.

no worries hon. i just couldn't resist dropping some names of the oldies, in hopes that maybe they will come home soon.. thank goodness i am a witch and have magic to keep that light in the window burning to guide them home.

Anyway... yes... sometimes it seems quite quiet. There seems to be lots on but not a lot of activity. I hang out mostly at Charon 5 now-a-days. And I'm writing a story with two others from here.

I haven't been keeping up with the Village and SH as much as I should. And not being Guilded... well... maybe one day???

@krish: humor is very hard to tell on the internet without the appropriate facial/physical gestures and tones to go along with it. I don't know how many times I've posted something that people misinterpreted to mean something entirely different. even WITH smilies.

As for the activity: imo, it's normal activity. Only days where you see a rush of people is a new release like AV2, or it's summer where people generally have a lot more time to post.

Well, I had life attack me, but I'm back now! I don't mind it being slow for a bit...I know I have a lot to catch up on, and I can only log on during weekend nights since I work long shifts on overnights the rest of the week.

Hui, you're not flaming anyone by what you are saying. There has been a rash of spam lately, and though you have been admonishing people, everything you've said has been true and phrased politely.

BTW, for people who don't know Hui well, the very fact that she is getting so upset is a sign that the spam is egregious right now. She is normally very sweet and passive in her posting.

@krish: Even WITH smilies, humor is hard to tell.
I can give an example where even when I DID used a smilie along with the 'joke' post, a person took it in an entirely different direction.

Now you guys, shake hands and make up or I'm going to lock up this thread for a cooling down period as we don't need anymore thread hijacking. If you must continue this little argument, than take it to the PMs.
