I have found 6 book pages.

The one in the shop in Sedona,
the one in the Oldwoods bookcase,
the one in Thais bookcase,
the one in Lamp's Castle,
the one in the Dirt Pile at Eastern Empire,
the one in Dreamworld,

Where are the other pages?

One is in Elini's house in Veldt.
One is in the dirt pile in Dirkon.

This quest is long and useless. The reward is just junk.

Well, the Lightning Storm spell is good, but I had already bought it and was a little disappointed! But it was that and "Save the world from Ahriman" left and didn't want to finish with an unfinished quest...

I got that Lightning Storm long long ago before I finish that quest... And if you don't want to have unfinished quest, actually you can just don't start it.

How many pages are there total? I have 3, could you list the areas to find.

in a hole in Dirkon on the Western Isle Peninsula
in the Items Shop in Sedona on the Peninsula
Lamp Castle
in Elini's house in Veldt
in the Time Master's guild in Thais
in Dreamland

You need a shovel to dig up some of the pages.

I remember getting the "arcane book pages" side quest, but for the life of me I can't find the book dealer that gave me the quest in the first place!! I have all eight pages, I am ready to fight what's-his-ugly-face, and this quest is really getting on my nerves!!! Help please!!!

Oh, and where do I get the kettle for the alchemist? (and where is the alchemist again???)

He is in the city Galarah where Rhen is a slave.
In one of the 2 big mansions on the southeast side of town.

The kettle (for the Alchemist) is in the Blasted Lands that lead to Thais. Look for a wooden-looken chest toward the upper Western part of the Blasted Lands. The alchemist is in the Veldt.

What are the pages for? The quest or whatever it is never showed up in my game last time. I had 6 or 7 pages by the end of the game. BTW, there is a page in the dreamland as well, at least for v2. I think you missed that.

Once you have them all, take them to the book collector in Ghalarah for a spell for Lars. And yes, there is a page in Dreamland, and I don't recall a page in Black Bone Caves either... (maybe I'm getting old...)

thanks for the info. I found one in Dreamland as I was doing the AV1 mods. I didn't start with a good list up there, so I'll go remove the Blackbone Caves one.
