Did you type %appdata% in the search exactly as it is?

Are you sure typed that into the address bar? It seems like you did so in the search engine...

i did it in the adressbar of my computer's built in file searcher correctly. i just copy/paste the %appdata% thing into it.

You don't need to use the file searcher. This is the address bar:




Just type it into this and not into the search function to the right.


For the application data folder to appear, try this:
- Select the tools or organize option from the top left drop down menu.
- Select folder options and then the view tab.
- Under the files and folders option find the hidden files and folders option and select show hidden files and folders.

So why are you still trying to find the file? You can't send it to anyone and get them to fix it - this is a bug with the game, not with your save file. The solution is to open your game, change the leader to someone else, and continue playing. It's as simple as that. I'm not sure why you're persisting in looking for the save file, which you're obviously having troubles finding, when it won't help fix the issue.


The bug HAS been fixed, but it's not considered significant enough to warrant a new build, since it doesn't stop you playing (given that there's a very easy workaround).
