Okay I was wondering if any knew a way to put a demo mode on a completed rmxp game.
By demo I mean a time trial like aveyond has. Thanks.

Since Aveyond IS an RMXP game, it must be possible!
I know I've seen a script to do this, just don't remember where it was. Try looking around the RMXP support sites. I'll see if I can find it.

Aveyond uses an external program which you can find here: http://www.siliconrealms.com/
Amanda has written a tutorial about making a commercial game using that software. If you are not making a commercial game then you may not want to spend money on that software.

If I were you, I'd just let them finish one adventure with your game, and then tell them the demo is over - followed by a game over screen. Most commercial demos give you unlimited time to play them, but they give very limited features.
