Nine letters? So does this mean I miss the shape school? Where's the pass for the Shape school anyway?

The pass for the shape school was only available at one point in the game so you may have missed it

For the carrot cake you will need to find something on a different island before you can complete it.
For the crystal balls first go to the market then check out Nethina and the North Woods

Have you read the plaque on the wall in one of the rooms in the tunnels? You must do this first and then up in Marnethia there is a clearing off to the east of the section where the Witching and Element Schools are - head into there

@honest: how many did you already have? There're 5 lights.
West - you'll find 2, 1 in the cave North East(the cove) - you'll find 1 South - find 1 just explore around and find your lights!
