The game has locked up on me three times. The first two times, it didn't matter, as I just reopened the game and could restart from where I was. However, I had just given the man in the village store the swan feather when the game crashed again. I have reopened, but I no longer have the swan feather, and I didn't receive the quill for the muse. Is there anything I can do to fix this without replaying from the beginning?
I have Windows Vista - I know some games have problems with Vista. Could that be why it's crashing?

Perhaps a little more info, like any crash report or message that you can show us? Or did it just jam up and not move?

I'm afraid you'll have to start again. There seems to be a problem when you're in the middle of "swapping" items and the game crashes.
It has nothing to do with Vista.

This happened to me.. and no, there's no crash report... at least not visible, I did get the "do you want to report this to microsoft" message which means there may be a crash report somewhere... but my game did start at the place it crashed; in fact it was during the trial period and I think I got a few more minutes added to the trial period out of it. [Of course I since have bought the game].
Also on the sort of same line, when I finished the game there was no going back, just started at a new game. So I was wondering if there could be some "save" points added... perhaps not user initiated, but "if your game crashes here you only have to go back to this point" type saves. Don't know if that would be possible or not.
