Re my feelings on crackshipping: Depends on how much I like or dislike the two people's interaction. Example:
- Te'ijal/Galahad: The LULZ they make is WIN!
- Gyendal/Mel: See above.
- Agas/Rhen: IT'S FULL OF SPARKLES HOW DID IT HAPPEN OH MY!! In a good way, of course
- Edward/Yemite: WHUT IS DIZ I DON'T EVEN (in a not so good way)
- Voldemort/Basilisk: O__________O (speechless, but otherwise I don't care)

I don't even care about AV canon anymore that personal OTPs and other headcanons are deleted. But speaking of RM games, I remember shipping Fierro/Josephine from Eternal Eden. This starts out as a random OTP which becomes sorta canon when we see them engaged in the epilogue. It's similar to the Beauty/Eston thing I mentioned in the first page, I suppose.

As for other fandoms, I am now shipping Ai/Okiya for the lulz. Not that it's totally baseless since, if we assume that the Okiya=Akai theory is correct, then Ai's dead older sister is Okiya's ex-girlfriend

I got lost in Eternal Eden. Now I kinda have forgotten what am I supposed to be doing there, but... that's beside the point

AV is the only fandom I care enough about to bother with OTPs and headcanons. Kinda sad that these fanon stuff override my original material big time, but... Geh.

Any other fandom that I enjoy, I mostly just sit back and watch other people do the work.

Note that when I say I "ship" a pairing, I merely like it better than the alternatives offered. I don't wave banners or shout at the top of my lungs that "THIS IS MY OTP FTW!!!"

Actually, I'm not even sure I have OTPs anymore. Even if I have a most-preferable pairing for this and that characters, I don't mind them being shipped with someone else... unless that "someone else" is someone I really hate. Or it's a HoYay, which I can't enjoy no matter what the internet says about it.

Well, a lot of people do that. They don't go all hardcore with their ships. With a lot of stuff I'm sort of that way too. I like x pairing, but I don't particularly care for it.

I can tolerate SOME ho-yay, but only if it's not over-the-top or nonsensical.

Or sometimes, I just see someone shipping a certain pairing, and go "Ok, this will do" and follow the shipping because why not.

That being said, I'm adding Mavis/Zeref from Fairy Tail to my pairing list. Also IzaNami from Durarara!! (Mainly because I like the portmanteau couple name, which is one of the silliest reason for shipping other than "just because" )

Those pairings I mentioned before were from DP. Oh I found one that makes me laugh every time I look at it. This one was created to stop a shipping war in DP but backfired.
