LOLz, my crack pairings happen usually because I just don't like any of the logical or canon ones and because for some reason I "sense" that they could be compatible. In the case of my AV crack-OTPs, those are just stupidity that got carried away.

Saurva/Eithera: Me and Rogue paired them up (among many other random good guy/bad guy pairings) simply because Eithera blew up and screaming about wanting to rip the daeva to shreds or something of that sorts. If she didn't blow up a gasket once released, I doubt i would even think of pairing them up.

Agas/Rhen: This is actually my first AV crack pairing, but since it didn't start as a pairing and I completely forgot all about it, it didn't re-enter my mind until... Oh, I dunno, last year? It's the classic shoujo manga style "I molest your girlfriend so you will be pissed off because I can" thing. I only remembered this because I for some reason took note of this crack pairing in my diary somewhere and when I read through it, I found that random plot point and thought it was so much fun. I'm pretty sure my Agas is no longer Nazi-Hitler-Spartan-Mariner Agas at that point, because that would be totally SCARY You know, this guy right here, a.k.a (a remake of) the first Agas I ever drew.

Gosh, I'm strange.

My first ever crack art, featuring the crack at its best Ever since that pairing turned into my personal canon, I always treat it as serious business and even somehow dug up an explanation that COULD make it actually BE canon. As in... you know, actually happening off-screen? I mean, we don't get too much about the druids and daevas so personal backstories can totally be made up.

I mean, Eithera's shrine is inside the Demon Caves AND the Demon Realm gate is in her basement. I totally don't believe that her exploding rage is for ALL demons. Okay, the canon explanation is probably because Saurva managed to take her down and she's mad about it, but... a very minor fact-bending can't hurt, right? We never knew just why exactly did she burst into a fit anyway.

Though I do have the annoying problem of once I get attached to a certain pairing via fanfic, I tend to read bout that pairing only and avoid any other pairings with those people in it.

Example:
hermione/fleur=can't read fleur/anyone other than hermione.

@KTC: Aahhh, the "person A belongs to person B ONLY!!!" syndrome. That's what happens with me too, except that if I like the pairing via crack/joke, I can still stand others involving one or the other of the people involved. Like my AV weird pairings I can still like Lars/Rhen even though it's no longer my OTP
