I personally think they sleep like people do because sleeping is the one thing Te'ijal didn't complain about being human. I assumed that meant she wasn't unfamiliar with the whole idea of sleeping

I assumed gyendal and the vamps are hibernators rather than actual human sleep.

Like I said, I normally go with canon, being a very boring person, and TxG is not only my favorite Aveyond pairing, but my favorite pairing ever, so I can't find the ability to ship any other pairing w/ Te'ijal or Galahad. But the idea does sound interesting... I can kinda see where you got it from...

@lovinlife: I forgot to ask you to explain why Gyendal would prefer Mel.

My reasoning for this is him being obsessed on getting his hands on Mel for one reason or another (revenge or the Darkthrop Prophecy) turning into some kind of twisted desire for Mel herself while Stella is just a one-off that is barely important to him, but I want to know what others think

Yay for OTPs! I am very strict with my OTPs. Once one caught on, I cannot ship them with anyone else. In fact, I would LOATHE all other pairings that interferes with my OTP. Unless I wasn't THAT gung-ho about the pairing in the first place and I don't mind poking around with other pairings, Like Lars/Rhen for example Sometimes, my pairing preference is the opposite. Instead of liking "strictly AxB pairing", I like "any pairing that is NOT AxB". For example, I don't mind Indra paired with anyone EXCEPT Agas. I dislike Agas/Indra to no end

I remembered those days where I liked Dameon x Indra for some reason.

I remember a time I decided Rhen should be with Aesma. For no reason. Oh, there was also a time where I fooled with the idea of Saurva/Te'ijal and Agas/Te'ijal. For no reason, again.

@d_a: ah, you mean the time we fooled around with pairings just for the heck of it. And for no reason too.

@rogue: Of course. But the Saurva/Te'ijal one is something that I thought up quite recently I think it was somewhere around the time I decided that Agas sucks with weaponry...

Believe it or not, the first time I played Aveyond I thought Saurva was a girl.

Eh, you're not the only one. Actually, the daevas apart from Indra (and probably Nanghaithya) all can be either gender. Aesma and Tawrich aren't human-like so there's no telling what gender they are. Agas is covered in a full-body armour and we can't see his face, so he might well be a she. Zarich's face is not exactly clear, so there's also no telling what gender Zarich is. Saurva is not exactly human so he too could darn well be a girl.

I went with male for Saurva because 1) that's what the RMXP default battler say and 2) according to the myth he's a guy

But then again, according to myth Indra is a guy too

And according to SOME variation of the myth, Nanghaitnya and Zarich are girls And Agas too. And Agas is not a daeva, like I've said about dozens of times already.

Anyways, it just clicked on to me that Saurva is a guy from the start and a guy he remains. I'm sort of fooling around with Zarich's gender, though. Zarich is can be a guy or a girl depending on my mood. Nowadays I tend to prefer Zarich being a girl, although it doesn't really matter since there's hardly any difference beyond whether or not he/she has boobs.

Why am I rambling about gender? Augh!

You know, now that I think of it, I don't know why I support Gyendal/Mel... The pairing just clicked on to me out of nowhere and now it's my OTP. It's a speed record. Usually I would see a fanfic or fanart of so and so pairing that made me think "hey, that makes sense" first, then liking the pairing. With this, I... it just fell from the sky. I didn't CARE about Mel even after I finished TLO. Derp. Weird. No rhyme nor reason. Coz my previous crack pairings have reasons behind it, believe it or not. The "reason" hardly made any sense due to my twisted logic (it makes sense to ME, but it may not make sense to YOU), but it's still a reason

Did I mention I once toyed with the idea of Nanghaithya/Zarich? With the daevas it's no big deal who is paired with who, really. It's not like they're at all important.

I liked Aveyond 1 purely for the gameplay, not the plot. The exploring and battles were fun, but the characters weren't as memorable for me.

Really? As fun as gameplay may be, a game only really pops up in my memorable favourites list if it has a good plot.
