OK so I bought Aveyond a few years ago and just re-downloaded it from yahoo games where I purchased the license...

Well now I am pretty much at the end of the game and I can't get across the rainbow bridge to awaken the druid of time but there is a fairy there saying she lost her family.

I cannot find anything In the walk through about the Lost Fairies( maybe it needs to be updated???) if this is the case I could help out as I am an avid old Aveyond player and would like for the walk through to be up to date...

I don't remember anything in playing the game before about these lost fairies but maybe it was an optional side quest? but my problem is if this is an optional side quest then why won't the fairy move from the spot where she is blocking the bridge?

After searching I was able to find a post about getting that fairy to move by going to the demon caves in the blasted lands and finding her lost family. but the only thing i could find in the walk through about this was a mention of "fairy dust" being used in the battle against ahriman to help daemon snap out of being evil(and in the walk through it says that there may be a bug that lets you have the fairy dust whether you actually got it or not... which tells me this was supposed to be an optional side quest....

so I am confused. Things seems to be buggy or mixed up Idk whats going on for sure. maybe nothing. maybe its just the newest version of the game but can someone at least tell me if im right about the "lost fairies" being in the demon caves in the blasted lands? this is not to be confused with the other missing little woman that you get from fighting the toad. The lost fairies are in the dark caves in the blasted lands, yes. Due to the bug you mentioned (the one about there being fairy dust in the finale whether you've gotten it or not) is precisely the reason why we changed the quest from a side quest to a main quest, so players won't be confused during the final battle.

As for the walkthroughs, because the Builds B & C are almost identical except for a very few gameplay changes here and there, Build B's walkthrough is still useable, especially in view of the fact that very few portals actually upgraded their Aveyond version to Build C.

It's interesting to see that Yahoo Games have actually taken build C. I was under the impression that only one or two portals accepted it.

At least AM is now no longer the only one to offer Build C since Reflexive's closure
