Kill everything in my way. :3

kill, collect the money, & upgrade my character,,
i've tried to avoid the battle but sometimes thats hard,,,the monsters always following me,,,hahaha
so the monsters must be killed,,

i dodge and run CONSTANTLY, which is why i despise games that don't have that option (random monster attacks SUCK)

When I first go to a new area, I try to fight one or two if its monsters. If I am up to their level, I kill all the monsters I find on my way. For two reasons, to level up and to collect any goodies I can find in the chests they are usually guarding. Then after that, I usually dodge and run coz it becomes boring. But generally, I usually tend to level up as much as I can before I enter a new area. Levelling up is my top priority.

Well, I try to complete the game the better way I can, like doing all the sidequests as possible, getting a lot of gold, leveling up, etc...

I don't do any of that. I attack whatever I see when I'm in a new area, using best spells and attacks and whatever to gauge how tough the new monsters are, and then kill everything until I level up to a manageable level, then dodge everything and kill what I can't.

i am an expert doger except for when space is tight! well sometimes i mange timing and manage to doge other times *PLAYS FAIL MUSIC* wha wha whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! so i basicly level up 1 or 2 levels then go to where i need to go. some times wait until im a level 19 (AV1 RHEN'S QUEST IN THE EASTERN CAVE SYSTEM)! sorry for caps. i forgot to turn it off.

Ever heard of "overkill"? XD That's how I roll sometimes...especially when I get mad at something...I remember...I feel stupid being mad at Lydia and I unleashed my wrath at the monsters...Hahaha!!!

Depends on the game. In a lot of RPGs there's the system of random encounters, and when this happens I usually don't escape battles unless if my state of HP/MP/items is too bad. Or if I'm impatient because I'm solving a puzzle.

In the Aveyond games when I come into a new area I usually first try to get into the town first to upgrade my equipment and only then I go back to search around and fight.

Ugh, random encounters. I do not like those. I can't use the dodge and run method I so enjoy.

In Aveyond I like to level up and kill everything.

Well, not so much in AV2 and AV3 coz we have level cheats, but in AV1 where the most you can get with cheats is level 60-something, I have to kill loads and loads of monsters to get to level 99. I like maxing out my characters' levels!

Or you can buy the exp points in Veldt in Aveyond 1. Usually when you get far enough in the game you have gathered a lot of gold, so spending it there is no problem. It just takes a lot of time pressing the key again and again to actually gain some levelling up because the exp you get there from every session is so little. -_-

Depends on the game. Typically, when I get to a new area with new enemies, I'll fight them as I go through until I get bored of fighting. Then I run through like mad and go to the next area. But in games like "Dawn's Light" where there are only X amount of enemies in the entire game, I have to kill every single one.

I normally fight as little as possible, but note I've only played Aveyond and a handful of demos for homemade games.

However, I'm trying to replay the entire AV series on Expert Mode, so instead I'll be leveling up as much as a possible. It's a bit drastic a change from my normal style, but oh well. More practical.

then i advise you to use the level goodies if you can find them. but i cant show there locations nor tell where to go. sorry.

Oh, I know where they are.

But my thing was this: All games, expert mode, no cheats/goodies. So it would violating my little competition (and a bet with my friend I can't complete AV2 XD) if I used them.

Please don't advise the use of goodies. They are there if the player wants to use them. Advice should always be strategies, not goodies.
