I must say, this game looks like it's going to be awesome! =DDD
Also, i really liked Quintessence. Though i've only played an "old" version. I cried so much over the storyline i didn't dare to play it again until like 2 years later. O_o
I expect this to be just as awesome ^^

I've been working hard on To the Moon this summer. With the current schedule, the game is set to be finished around September of this year, then I'll leave a month for final testing and other pre-launch preparations. Although, during this period, I am susceptible to serious head injuries from falling down the stairs, so no contractual deadlines are provided.

Anyhow, some new screenshots:








Mm, I don't think I've talked about game-play much yet here. . . Here's a brief description; I'll post some more detailed stuff on it later.

Given its story-oriented nature, the game-play mainly consists of the process of traversing through the memories via "mementos". A memento can be used to travel when it exists in two relatively close memories simultaneously.



The time bar constantly visualizes your progress in Johnny's life, to hopefully sleep-deprive you until you're done.

To be able to use each memento, 5 "memory links" from the current construct must be acquired through various means, depending on the memory.

Additionally, mini-games and puzzles are scattered about wherever appropriate.


Anyhow, I'll have to prepare some more screenshots and the like to make a more detailed post on that. And also for next time, supershigi/Laura Shigihara (Plants vs. Zombies) made a recording of her beautiful original song for the game~! ;D I'm super excited for it.

Oh oh, and the official announcement trailer is coming soon as well!

wow! it looks definitely interesting! The plot is very intriguing, because its kinda like sci-fi! and the screenshots look excellent and i cannot wait for the demo around september!!!

Somehow, I'm sitting down with some tea in my hand while listening to "For River". I was so relaxed with it

It is a very touching song and kinda makes me think about that in this world, that you can even achieve the impossible if you try hard enough. I love it~ I keep listening to it~ *smiling and dazing off*

I saw the trailer and can't wait for it's releases!

It's very emotional and dramatic and that's what I like most of the freebirdgames
