Our district was asked to help out in an Easter drama in church. We were all supposed to be playing as devils, hence the black cloaks. But then apparently they needed a stoic-looking guy to play as the angel who guards the Judgement Gate, so that one guy (his name is Edward, by the way, just saying) got to be an angel.

Playing as devil is more fun, to be honest. The angels' roles are soooo laaaaaaaaaame..... And they look really ridiculous in the white robes. Well, okay, the girls look fine, but the guys look sooo weird.

Er, why does an Easter drama have angels and devils?

Because it's an Easter drama in the sense that "it's a drama performed on Easter". Not a re-enactment of the Ressurrection a.k.a Easter.
