5 attraction points??? The first time I only got two: the cupcake and the snail. It upset me that Edward can't marry Stella or Mel so I searched hard. Then I realized that I didn't take the comb in Mysten Far (I have my reasons, but stupid ones. ).. I had to load my saved game file just before the final battle in order to get back to Mysten Far.

Then I was able to marry Stella and Mel. I hadn't realized that there are 5 attraction points.

On the subject of the bouquet, I left the bouquet seller to rest after I got the quest item. I didn't bothered talking to her again. Sad on my part.
On the subject of the love song, the farthest I got to is the 10 gold coin fee. Is there more to that? Is the guy supposed to have give me an item? I always talk to him everytime I go to Sedona to sleep but it's always 10 gold coins...

I think I'll have to replay some of my saved game files to check these out...

After he sings to you for 10 gold coins, you need to leave Sedona and come back after another 10 minutes has passed. Then he won't be there anymore - he'll be in the castle. That's when he'll give you your other attraction point item.

If you are certain that you have gone to him repeatedly after he sings for 10 gold, AND 10 minutes has passed, AND you have left Sedona AFTER the 10 minutes has passed, could you please email me your save file (and let me know it's for the beggar with the lute) so I can check it out?

You only need 3 attraction points for Mel, 2 for Stella, and 0 for Lydia. But giving either Lydia or Stella the snail will lower their attraction. So you don't need to obtain all 5 items.

Wait, so giving Lydia the lilies/cupcake actually increases her points? I thought she throws them back at you and screams.

What am I doing wrong? I gave the begger the lute and I have left Sedona, waited for 20 minutes, gone back and hes now asking for 10 gold, left for another 20 minutes and I am STILL having him standing outside the castle asking for 10 gold.

Am I doing something wrong?

It has to be you playing the game though. If you just put your inventory up and walk away that won't work.

Also, you may just need to wait just a few more minutes.

I don't, I actually leave the game playing whilst I am on the map, standing under my dragon whilst waiting by Dire Forrest or whatever and it doesn't seem to like me doing that, do I actually have to do something (maybe another quest or whatever) while I am waiting?

It's the gametime that matters. Return to Sedona after 10-15 mins have passed in the game. No, you don't need to anything else.

That should work, as you're not in a menu or anything. Did you actually get him to play for you for the 10 gold coins? Or did he ask you for 10 and you said no?

If you paid him, left Sedona, waited 10 minutes and went back and he's still there, could you please email me your save file so I can take a look? If there IS something wrong, we might be able to fix it in time for build C.

Shaz, she edited her post in which she had mentioned that she had other applications running and aveyond window wasn't on top. So time in the game wouldn't have passed that way.

How do you get the bouquet? I know that you have to make a bouquet for a guy to give to his wife and we get the hat in return but how do we get a second bouquet from Clearwater? Or are we meant to keep the bouquet and not give it to the guy for his wife?

It's the same bouquet. Just go and talk to his wife after you get the hat.

Sorry shaz. I already got all the 5 attraction items. I didn't pay the beggar the 10 gold coins that's why he didn't leave the area. When I realized that this is the mistake I did, I paid him the 10 and then I got the love song ten minutes later...
I'm replaying the game now. I'm using the save file with the 6 attraction points with Spook. In order to see how different it would be.

Some of you mentioned marrying Belf but i have looked all over at the end and i don't see her anywhere. where is she?

@ AggieDoll - The queen will marry Edward to Belf if he(or you) decide not to choose any of the other girls. It's the default marriage. Just speak to the queen

thanks Nurmengard. Attraction points you accumulated in previous games won't make any difference in TDP. But don't let that stop you from enjoying the game again
