So I've recently hatched my bomber bird egg, but from the faqs I noticed that one of the boarded up caves is at rememberance cliffs. So I guess what I'm wondering is that cave supposed to be accessed in chapter 2 or beyond? Correct me if I'm wrong, but that place you can only visit when using a certain duo and once they are in your party you will not be able to make it back to he area in chap1?

Right. That is a special boarded-up cave and will be opened differently in Gates of Night.
