I'm sorry?

1. I totally agree on Edward being a brat in TDP. I forgive him for it because so many characters were off in TDP, and therefore i decided to pretend the whole thing never happened.

2. As a matter of fact I do love my Lars character, but I also love Ed/Mel. I considered Lars ending up with Stella but... no. She gets her wings back, finding true love can wait until after the story. (I think she should get married to a Naylithian, in any case. Not to be speciesist or anything, but once she does have her wings back it makes the most sense.)

OH! OH! I KNOW I KNOW! Maybe this is kinda like AP all over again. Y'know, while watching Blurble's avatar... So Uma/Nox is gonna fall in love with Edward's son, and all will be good! XD XD XD OMG how desperate can I get? XD

O_O I won't mind... as long as Edward's son is a decent character who isn't like Dameon.

I know people have said this a lot, but TDP feels so forced and disjointed from the previous three. Characters acting OOC, Mordred suddenly appearing and becoming Gyendal's master, Lars VIII/Mel, Uma and Nox not really having anything to do with anything... It's like the team forgot what happened previously and made a whole new thing entirely

Maybe you should give me a summary/plotline overview/synopsis of the story when it's done or something, Blurble. I really want to know how your take on the story is like, but... yeah Maybe I will feel less sick about the couple once I'm done with your orders. Guh.

Yep, 'disjointed' was the word. When I first played it I had this nagging feeling of unfulfillment about the game which I can't pinpoint.

@d_A: i was hoping taking my orders would make you less sick of the pairing... (since it woudl force you to think about their interactions and i know that always helps me)

btw, i was going to point out that it is quite possible ed/mel will not be together for most of the story (not "not "together"" together, i mean just like in the game where they get phsyically split up). I'm still not 100% sure, because figuring out my villain interactions is still in plotting stages... (basically, i thought shadow aveyond was awesomely creepy so it is definitely making it's way into my story, but whether that means mel gets whisked off to the demon realm or not, I'm not sure yet)




summary of story in its planning stages:
mel/ed go to veldarah
ed gets involved in politics
mel gets involved in school life (including befriending lars and not-befriending arana)
the Darkthrop vandalism incident happens
...??? unsure. at first i thought for sure i;d have to redo the part where she gets the letter, because it;s so idiotic of her to go off... then i thought i might tweak rather than chuck that scene, in which case...
(tentatively) ed/stella/lars go off to rescue mel
they probably successfully rescue mel? I think? and mel has meanwhile triggered some sort of disaster a la original TDP...
they go off to get T/G and undo said disaster...

again, it comes down to the interplay of the darkling politics, uma/nox, and whatever the hell gyendal is doing. gdfgdfgdfgfdgdf
