Characters:

Cadi Foranstus


Cadi is a 17 15-year-old boy from a farming village called Dorrak. He's the only teenager in his village, so his only friends are those at his school. He's training to be a Magus at the Technetius Morlak School of Magic, and idolizes shapeshifters and changelings of any kind.

Andreas Lindro


Andreas is a mischief-making master of molecular magic. His home is Mikre, a village controlled by the city-state Aurwen. He is 17 15 years old, and training at the Bran'rynn Mor Academy of Rare Magicks in Aurwen. As a molecular mage, he can change the amount of space in a room or container. He can fit a table, four chairs, four tablecloths, and four meals into a tiny sack. He has a slight aptitude for the flute, and his girlfriend is a witch named Akana Ma'rith.

Akana Ma'rith


Akana is a 18 16-year-old witch. She, like her boyfriend, Andreas, trains at the Bran'rynn Mor Academy of Rare Magicks. She is at the top of her witchcraft class, able to kill a cobra with its own venom. She lives in Aurwen, near the Academy.

Alyss Kor


Alyss is a 19 15-year old sorceress-in-training. She lives in Inkri, on Fhorii Island, but is staying in a dormitory at the Morlak School of Magic. She is one of Cadi's best friends. Sometimes, she works as a last minute substitutes for her teachers.

Ariana (last name unknown)


Ariana is an Amazon, a type a skillful warrior. Her age and hometown are unknown, but she looks about 16. She is able to immobilize an armed ninja in under 20 seconds without a weapon. She is adept at aikido, judo, tae kwon do, kung fu, karate, swordplay, and advanced acrobatics.

Tivec Ignismor


Tivec is a 35-year-old Darke Sorcerer from the Darke town Dendragomir. He trains at the Doom Darkness Academy. He has a distinctive scar on his right eye.

Plotline:

For centuries, there has been a truce between the Magical Lords: the Headmasters, the Darke Lords, the Lyte Lords, and the Lords of Magical Beings. But the unerring Orbe of Prophecie has said that the Darke Lord Angorok is plotting to take over the world.

Lord Angorok is said to be the most powerful of the Council of Magical Lords, the Darke God Fate's equal. However, the Orbe said that 'Morlak's failure shall be Mor's Shifter, becoming that which he idolizes. He shall gain power and battle the Darkenesse. He shall be peace's only hope.' Could this mean that Cadi is the only one who can defeat Angorok? If so, he and his friends must train like never before...

The Game World

Magyc takes place on Earth, in an alternate timeline in which the Black Plague never ended the Middle Ages. Mythical beings and many forms of magic, the classifications beginning with Darke and Lyte, formed in this timeline, resulting in an RPG-type world. Nowadays, few cities remain wihout magic.

Side Info

Early on, you learn that one of your later party members serves Lord Angorok. However, there is a surprise traitor; a criminal that lives in Tivec's hometown, possibly serving the renegade lord.

When the Orbe of Prophecy told of Angorok's treachery, he was represented by a servant of his; a warrior named YinLiktii. The BattleMaster in Cadi's school is named YinLiktii, but HeadMaster Morlak believes it's just a coincidence.

Magyc is the first game in series called The Five Magycs. The games to come are:
The Second Magyc: Elven
The Third Magyc: Necromancy
The Fourth Magyc: Time
and The Final Magyc.

I also plan to make a prequel called Shifte, but that'll be after either Elven or Necromancy.

FAQ:
Nobody actually asks questions, but I'm assuming these would be frquently asked if they did:
What pairings are there in Magyc?
At the end of the game, you can choose between Ariana x Cadi and Alyss x Cadi. Andreas has to be paired with Akana, and vice-versa, but you may be able to choose for them to break up. Since the characters aren't old enough to get married, it says that the two people date for a few years, then marry.
Does the player need attraction points for pairings?
Not at the moment, but I may add a scriptless version of them.
What are some tips for the player?
Make sure Alyss is as strong as possible (probably not Level 99), and make sure all 6 party members are well-equipped. This will make it much easier to survive the final scene.
What are 'Operation: Patch' and the Captured Traitor Plan?
To answer either wold be a spoiler, thoush the Captured Traitor Plan will be revealed fairly soon.

I need NPC Designs for Magyc. To design an NPC, specify who they are, what the area they're in is like, and post the graphic for them (if it's a default graphic, specify which). Post in this format:
Name: Preferably something a little more realistic then Aveyond06, or Eddi9352, or whatever any username of yours might be. Nameless NPCs are counted, if I give all NPCs names, I'll make one up for yours.
Graphic: Post an RMXP graphic, describe one (if I can't make it I'll improvise), or specify what edits to make to a default one.
Basic Area: Desert town, cave, Darke ghetto, etc. Anywhere that might be in my game. If there's no map in my game that works,I'll get as close as I can with what I've got.
What they say: A generalization of what they say, or exactly what they say. You could say they say 'I love dogs', or you could say they say 'Something about loving dogs'.

I also need to know what your worst fear is. In an area in the game called Phoebia, all the enemies, and the population, are people's worst fears. It's ruled by Death, and I'm using common fears (spiders, snakes, clowns) for the natives, but I need enemies. Just post in this format:

I need gods. A lot of the gods in the Five Magycs are made-up, and I need help making them up. You can base them around your first name, last name, middle name, favorite character's name... You can mash together two words, turn words sdrawkcabm, make up words... It doesn't really matter, so long as it sounds odd, doesn't have numbers, and is in this format:
Name: [the god's name]
Sphere of Power: [what the god controls]
Graphic: [the god's graphic, a description will do]
