Yes, Amanda found a new platform. I think it'll also run on Android xD

That Platform was Unity3D, a 3D RPG View game making Engine. I tried to use it but it was too difficult, Im not that good enough in this type of game engines, but I think you will see Aveyond in 3D.

Games made with Unity is NOT necessarily 3D. You can make 2D games with it too, and I won't be surprised if Amanda opted to still make Aveyond in 2D , even with Unity.

If Aveyond is going to be made in 3D, Amaranth will need to commission 3D artists to make the custom characters and landscape, no? Far as I can tell, 3D artists can get crazy-expensive, especially if you want high-quality stuff

Aveyond will still be in 2D, but will run on Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android.

I heard of a Multi Platform RPG Maker that will come out in June/July.

We are keeping an eye on that one as well.

I saw a Unity3D Project with 3D models, but I think Aveyond4 will Iprove more 'n more 'n more about the Graphics...

Hope the RMXP Multi Plat (what I will call it) is used. It's the closest you can get to RMXP for PC's art and scripts.

What is "RMXP Multi Plat"? There IS no RMXP multi platform - it's Windows only. That's why we're looking at other products.

Um I was calling the Rpg maker adapted for Multi. Platforms that's to be released in June/July that. I gave it a fan dub name.

Well I hope it is compatible with ALL systems from Windows to Macs to Androids/Smart phones (I own Windows XP and an Android).

How about CryEngine2, Its very easy to create 3D models with 3D Rendering Softwares like Blender3D.

2D Aveyond is actually better. We need to keep the feel of Aveyond while we play it when engine jumping. It's mostly Amanda's choice.
