Hopefully I'm less bitter than back then (I get super-spiteful and gloomy every winter) when AV4's teasers come along.

Oh come on, I never hate any of Amaranth Games' games. I'm just super spiteful until I actually play the game. TDP was my favourite chapter of Aveyond 3 ever even though my spiteful reactions for the teasers were very loud and annoying.

@d_a: I think a lot of people here would super appreciate it if you put all your negative energies into an off site journal rather than lay it out here

Sorry Shaz, it just seems longer that they said they would be making an Aveyond 4. (Not that it was in the works then.) I saw it as coming up so wondered what the time line was on it.

You should be happy people don't want to be patient. They love the games, and that is good
for everyone. Amanda especially. Right?

It's not that we're not happy people want these games out quickly. We just want everyone to chill. I'm sure the game will come out as fast as Amanda can make it, but that may be a while.

Impatience is not going to make the games come out faster. If anything, it's only going to exhaust your excitement when the games ended up taking longer than expected to make.

I don't think that our excitement will exhaust... At least not in my case I'm looking forward to Aveyond 4 and I'll get even more excited when it will be released

The only thing I am asking for is spoilers not a faster release. Usually games that take longer means they are really good.

Consider that the choice of game engine is not hard and fast yet, and will not be until another month or two. The engine chosen will determine how much extra work we have to do - since either one will be new, we will have more to do than if we used RPG Maker again. So that will also influence how long it takes to create the game, and how long to get it to a point where we can start showing you things.

The bottom line is, it's WAY too early in development for us to be giving spoilers - anything and everything could change over the next few months.

Well when one pops up I am ready!
