@kenneth: kicked in the stomach = what exactly?

The problem with the verb 'kick' is its not descriptive enough. How much force was in the kick, how far did the dog go, what were the actions leading up to the kick, what was the aftermath of the kick.

Also, I don't remember reading anything about someone caring for the puppy after the kick. Can the topic starter clarify what became of the dog?

The dog could have been kicked away in air. That's just impossible. Dogs are not as light as balls, you know. And I still stand with what the baker did. Puppies are aggressive

@theone: "Puppies are aggressive". That's a generalization. Unless you've met every puppy on this planet, you can't say that and know that it's definetely true. I've had a puppy before, and she was the sweetest thing.

Let me clarify:
Stray puppies are generally aggressive. And they're generally kicked out from near stores and residences. And many people are scared of dogs. And generally, most puppies are more violent than grown dogs. And generally, puppies jump on little kids and knock them down. And generally, this is harmful to babies

Oh, count me in as one of that "people who are scared of dogs--esp. stray ones"!

Okay KTC This is a real long list soo ...

1) They WERE the Animal Control, They don't care about the dogs it's just their jobs and they DO IT. They Drop them Like 10km. from where they were picked up from... They don't care about the area...

2) He did not Do anything Before Kicking .... Just came OUT AND KICKED ! Yes.... I thought you all will say ... - "There can't be things like a PUPPY Flying after a kick..." So i Kept it with me ... Yes he went flying and Our car was parked in front of the bakery ... He landed on a thump on our car ...

3)I've never seen the baker Many times ... But he is just not Nice ... Looks like a theif too me ... But getting back on the topic .. The baker (are you asking the size and weight or the age you think he must be ? So i'm answering both) He looked Heavy must be 72 kgs. and he was real FAT, and he looked a man of 37-38 years old ... He was really HAPPY, He was paid the salary just now ... Something like ... around - 10,000 Rs. So he must be really happy ...

4) Yes, It was a puppy, Must be around 3-4 months .. He looked like a Dalmatian and Labrador Mix ... He was really Cute ...

5) No, This Area which the bakery is in, There are not many dogs You can see only 4-5 dogs at the most ... And its a more like an NON-HOUSING area ... And It has never had any problems like those before ....

6) You know Chor-Bazzar (translate = Thief-market)? Its that sort of area/Shopping area ... NO PEOPLE DO ANYTHING BAD THERE, JUST THINGS WHICH ARE NOT OF QUALITY ARE SOLD THERE, so don't take it like ... "Thief-market = Bad place, so the baker must be bad." So don't think these things AT ALL, And oh yeah, The market is really nice ..... No bad behaviors going on ... (except with animals), The people WHO come there are mostly all nice (except the one's who kick poor little animals), So I can say Its a nice area....

7) DID I TALK TO HIM ?!?!?! I WOULD NEVER TALK TO SUCH PEOPLE, i talked to the bakery OWNER, Who pays the Baker ... He is an animal Lover as i said ... So I talked nicely with me ...

No, He only gets angry when something bad happens like his cakes burn, oh and when he is angry, he may even kill you, But as I said ... he was just PAID ... He hadn't baked anything AFTER That ....

9) First of all, he was NO DOG, An puppy, getting on the point ... I bought some Khakhra, (an Indian Dish), And fed him with that (dogs love it), He was really happy, I wanted to take him home but sadly. I have 2 dogs already .... *sigh* Oh and I bought lucky my dog from the streets only, I found some children tying crackers to Lucky's tail, He was a pup then, So I took him in, Nutty even ... (they both are brothers), But getting on the point, I'd take that dog But my Dad Said - "You already own 2 dogs, You are too busy to handle 3 dogs, I know you handle both of 'em but ... Sorry.." I tried but he said clear cut - "No" So i stayed with that dog for around an hour ... But sadly I couldn't take him in... Now While I come back from my School, i stay by the dog and feed him things, He really looks forward to it ... Oh yes, I already have around 7 dogs Whom i feed on the streets ... so you can only image How Much I love dogs ....

@theone: It's possible for a dog to go flying when kicked. If the kick is hard enough and the angle is right, then they will fly up in the air. The baker obviously exerted enough force to make the puppy 'fly' into the air.

@An: Thanks for the extra info. It's good that you're taking care of the dog. A labrador/dalmation mix could be very hyper and excitable. I still don't agree with what the baker did. Now that we have the facts, this sounds like the baker was kicking the dog to get rid of it, but he didn't think before he acted and the dog was hurt because of it.
On the final warning thing, does that mean that the baker has kicked dogs before, and he's had warnings in the past? Or is that his first and final warning?

Yes the warning thing, He Has had 2 warning already in the PAST .... Because many customers said - "He is mixing Non-Veg. in our food" and "The food is burnt" and the 2nd time ... He was caught ... You know insulting a lady ... This was the final warning!

Yeah, well fine then, go with your benefits, until you find out that the true face of human is cruel and merciless, and in such cases, there's no way of being proven not guilty. Which is the dog's fault? Blame the animal, not the human! Way to go, Theone!

theone isn't blaming the puppy. It's as simple that maybe the cook was having hard side for dogs, and actually had ever dealt with the same puppy before. Of course for that, he got ticked when he saw the puppy and kick it out.

So, who's at fault?
There once a riddle. It says, "which one is guilty, when someone kill with a sword? Is it the killer? The smith? Or maybe it's the victim himself?".
If the puppy really ever there times before, then this likely can be a same condition as the riddle said.

Exactly what shadowshed said though the puppy was not at fault. I'm just saying we can't know for sure what happened to the baker before or whether he has had a traumatic experience with dogs

Of course he can. Do you ever really annoyed to something? You'll get the very urge to blast it, and even more if you're superior to it. Keep in mind that I'm using the possibility of the puppy had came before, and the fact that the cook didn't like dogs from the start.

wow your animal control sucks. Taking an animal elsewhere is not controlling the animal. Does it drop in that area often?

It sounds like the baker was releasing his payday joy with a little violent fun, handling a potential dog problem incorrectly since the boss disagrees, or both. Either way, bad technique and points marked off him.
